Chapter 87 - Scouting The Upcoming Prison Break

Lukewarm wind spread throughout the Gloricon area as the fresh orange sun arose on the cloudy sky. Its abrasive sunlight shone upon the L-shaped island with the entire ground mudded by the pale-white sands and small lines of golden-stem palm swaying their leaves fluently.

A wide sky-blue building in a block shape stood in the center of the sandy ground, emitting cerulean particles into its surroundings. It also maintained a cerulean tube-shaped rooftop made of solidified holographic projection. A scarlet eye planted on the rooftop's center scanned its empty nearby area.

Meanwhile, inside the L-shaped building, several people with a tight black suits and ragged pants were locked inside their cells with crimson holographic doors. Most of the inmates spent their time resting on their floating white bed in the center, venturing into the warm dream.

All of the inmates were implanted by the black collar, emanating the molten orange aura that transfused into their veins. Every inmate collar maintained a purplish skull shape with crimson jewel eyes, replenishing more energy through the inmate's body. The inmates were also being hushedly observed from above right as a size red-eye projection persistently staring at them like an owl.

Each of the eyes' projection views was reflected within the group of crimson screens located in the center. More specifically, the crimson screens levitated inside a room, bestrewing freezing air and glistened the sparkling white light within the arrow-shaped lamps, unfolding a couple of people centering their observant looks on the screen.

They consisted of two people with silk-gray armor, a dazzling white cape, and a golden eye planted on their foreheads. Behind them were the two Triumph Makers who took charge in a dawn duty VWX and Daigrun VII as they rapidly surveyed every crimson screen. Sleepiness poured into The Laser Master when he yawned, tapping his mouth.

A rigid look of The Alien Leader was replaced by a pleased smirk, persuading him to lend a long black bottle to his teammate. The Laser Master gulped in surprise at the coffee's bottle especially when pitch-black smoke came out from the bottle above, pointing his sight at Daigrun VII grinning.

"Come on, have some Aoelscian drink, it will help conceal your sleep," Daigrun VII said.

The Laser Master chuckled and shook his head, "Are you sure your Morgozoid special drink is better in human taste?"

"I'm sure with you the taste is much sweeter than the last time, almost like a sweet tea, VWX" Daigrun VII replied eagerly, peeking at his friend, who shook his body. "Besides, my people's drink can help relieve the exhaustion and sleepiness.

"Also, I'm the one who is responsible for calling you to do the night shift together," Daigrun VII admitted. "Besides I heard you also test some of your drinks for the VWX restaurant thing too."

"I already tried it, it's pretty good. Mr.VWX," One of the wardens joined the conversation, raising his thumb.

VWX rolled his eyes, "Fine. Let me try."

VWX reluctantly grabbed the black bottle and slid the opener above after The Alien Leader broadened his pleasant smirk, tapping his helmet's left side and freeing the facial part to reveal his mouth. Glancing at the purplish water painted a disgusted wince in The Laser Master's jaw before Daigrun VII prodded him on the shoulder, shaking his holding grip.

As The Laser Master sipped the drink, he heaved his gratified frown and gasped in shock before pulling it back. VWX pinned his sight on the bottle and spun it from left to right, inspecting the purplish liquid. Then, he licked the purple drink remains on his lip, heaving his delicate look.

"I never expected you could make a delicious drink like this," The Laser Master professed, taking another sip of the drink.

Afterward, the slumbering mood faded out from invading The Laser Master's mind, convincing him to rotate his fresh stare at the collection of screens and cross his arms. Daigrun VII chuckled in satisfaction, drawing his open hand that persuaded his teammate to return the black bottle.

"I thought you made a good drink that was suitable to your people only," The Laser Master praised.

Daigrun VII cleared his throat and said, "Thank you for the compliment, VWX. I truly appreciate"

"Indeed. Because of this, I don't feel sleepy tonight, either, and the sweetness of this drink is just right." The other warden on the right joined the conversation, tilting her head to the left and gawking at the screen.

"So Mr.Daigrun are you a mixologist before coming here," The male warden asked politely.

Daigrun VII sighed, "Correct, fellow human warden. Before dawning mantle, I used to own a drinking spot for fellow Morgozoid."

"And I was even the top mixologist back then," The Alien Leader explained, centering his sight on the screen below.

The two wardens exchanged looks of disbelief as The Alien Leader initiated a brief scanning process on the screen. Humming in suspicion, he darted his sight at the middle left screen. The screen showcased a fade-cut-haired inmate lying on the bed, staring at the small screen floating in front of him.

"How long have you become a mixologist, Mr.Daigrun VII?" The Female Warden asked curiously.

Daigrun VII coughed and answered, "Around 20 years."

"That's quite a long time," The Female Warden commented.

"For Morgozid, it's only short since we could live a thousand years at maximum," Daigrun VII mentioned, noticing all the warden puffing in bewilderment and encouraging him to giggle gleefully.

"To be more shocking, I'm still young in Morgozoid time," The Alien Leader added happily, sipping his drink.

VWX blew an impressed whistle, "Yup, he is not joking especially when he said he is still 87 years old."

"Wow, then you're even older than my grandmother," The Male Warden said, shaking his head and tittering.

Daigrun VII grinned snarkily, "I do like seeing humans surprised whenever discovering Morgozoid's age range."

"And you'd better stop showing your creepy smile too, Daigrun" The Laser Master insisted, cringing.

VWX also noticed the Alien Leader, who continued to center his focus on the fade-cut-haired man within the screen. He moved one step closer to Daigrun VII, who sharply rotated his sight. The Laser Master pinned his stare toward the ongoing footage, pinching his chin in curiosity.

"Okay, I have one question. Why did you keep focusing your observation at Kelkanda?" VWX whispered heedfully.

"Based on the report from Prila, Judilia has been freeing criminals who are either the biggest threat for Triumph Makers or our arch nemesis," The Alien Leader replied, pressing his cautious glance.

"For example, she freed Martatoriot-OX because one of Prila's nemesis," Daigrun VII assumed.

The Laser Master cleared his throat and said, "Well, my big concern is what's the point of freeing our arch nemesis?"

"We can just defeat them," VWX argued.

"Unless…unless…" VWX whispered, feeling his limbs as his thought was consumed by trepidation.

"Unless this is part of the Pendoswing's scheme, right?" The Alien Leader guessed, triggering the warden to gasp and VWX grunting agitatedly.

VWX gulped and uttered, "It could be possible."

"I thought the psycho cosmic being already switched his attention toward The new hero, Viscable," The Laser Master bickered, holding his breath shortly. "Why does he still obsess to have a rematch against us?"

"Because a cosmic being like him wanted to fulfill all his desires at the same time," Daigrun VII answered rigidly.

"His last banishment didn't demotivate him to face us, instead, it triggered a desire to rematch," The Alien Leader suspected.

VWX hissed, "He is a ruthless and battle obsess asshole."

"He didn't even give the slightest care on anything, even the innocence!!" The Laser Master ranted.

Gray energy discharged on The Laser Master's glasses eyes, triggering the two wardens to center their shaking looks at him. However, the rage within faded instantly when VWX exhaled the hefty breath, dispersing the energy from his glasses. He bowed apologetically at the panic-stricken warden before returning his watchful sight to the footage.

"And I bet Judlilia wanted to free Kelkanda because he is your most hated criminal?" The Laser Master guessed.

Daigrun VII blew a hefty breath, "Indeed, VWX, indeed."

"To this day, I still keep my hatred of him, especially being a hypocritical monster," The Alien Leader confessed. "Even though I'm the Triumph Maker's leader, sadly, the feeling and rage still overwhelm me whenever I see him."

"It's okay, Daigrun. As long as you didn't kill him, I think it's fine for you to keep some grudge," The Laser Master assured, tapping his chest.

"I know, I know. I just didn't like his hypocritical view toward aliens," Daigrun VII uttered, boiling his head in deep anger the longer focusing on the fair-cut main footage. "Even worse, he is willing to kill innocent people just to get me."

"It's sickening to think deeply," The Alien Leader added, exhaling a huge chunk of breezy air from his throat.

Daigrun VII nodded, "I'm very sorry for letting wrathful thoughts overwhelm my mind, everyone."

The Laser Master gestured his hand forward and replied, "Nah, I'm fine if you vented all of those thoughts."

"Besides, you still fully focus on inspecting the footage, which is a good point, Daigrun," VWX complimented his leader, who persistently observed his arch nemesis's footage and remained centered his sight on the small floating screen.

"Must be Morgozoid has some kind of special senses too?" VWX guessed.

The Alien Leader smiled slowly, "More like a coolheaded mindset."

Suspicion boiled within The Alien Leader as he moved his head closer toward the Kelkanda's video, fueling his eyes with brimming purplish flashes. Daigrun VII even folded his staggering knuckles while observing his arch nemesis, alerting the two wardens to center their worried gazes on the hero.

"Pardon me, Mr.Daigrun, our camera is enhanced by both magic and technology in Lambarotz's prison, I think it should detect everyone else who tries to sneak in," The Male Warden explained.

Daigrun VII sighed, "I appreciate your explanation, but Judilia possibly learned a new stealth technique."

"So, are you going to inspect Kelkanda directly," The Laser Master guessed, watching Daigrun VII turning around and drawing his knuckle below his neck.

The Alien Leader nodded, "Correct."

"I wanted to witness how Judilia can kidnap this criminal," Daigrun VII proclaimed

"Warden, please send me to cell 98," Daigrun VII blurted out an affirmed command, folding his knuckle to the back and gazing at the two wardens.

The Female Warden cleared her throat and said hesitantly, "Uh…sure. Mr.Daigrun we will send you there for a further inspection."

The two wardens cast the bestrewing crimson particles from their palms by swaying their hands. Then, the wardens imminently thrust their hands downward, summoning the crimson circle beneath The Alien Leader who rested his knuckles and fixated his anticipative furrow above.

Hence, Daigrun VII jumped into the circle and drowned further, transporting him to the new spot. Meanwhile, on the Kelkanda's cell front side, a crimson circle materialized in the center and prompted The Alien Leader to leap out from its depth. His presence attracted The Inmate as he harshly tapped the screen to cease out from the naked eye, swiftly approaching the visitor.

"The Morgozoid Bastard has finally come to visit me," Kelkanda yelled.

"Disgusting, alien freak!!" Kelkanda added.

Daigrun VII grunted and called out, "Stop your pathetic act as a blind activist, Kelkanda."

Kelkanda replaced his incited look with a perplexed grin as he let out an out loud ridicule laughter, feeling his stomach shaking. Nonetheless, The Inmate gushed out the hefty air and locked his thrilled smile toward Daigrun VII. Then, he strolled to the holographic door's left side, pumping the resentment within The Alien Leader.

"Why did you choose to pay a visit directly?" The Inmate asked, clapping his hand and heading to the right.

Daigrun VII cleared his throat and exclaimed, "I wanted to prove my suspicion that Judlia's target is correct."

"Judilia?" The Inmate said, raising his bemused eyebrows. "You meant the artificial succubus who is The Infamous Pendoswing's underling, too?"

Daigrun VII grunted and muttered, "It seems you are well aware of the surroundings too, rotten hypocrite."

"Very obvious," The Inmate admitted. "I loved to dig a lot of information in Gloricon and even the rest of the world too."

"Enough of your comment," Daigrun VII muttered and asked sternly, "What did you read right now?"

"Oh it's just a fantasy novel," The Inmate replied and explained. "A novel about a hero who will do anything to protect his country."

"Quite ironic that I'm a mass murderer, but love to read a book about heroes," Kelkanda remarked sarcastically.

Daigrun VII tilted his uneasy neck to the left and countered, "No, you're just a twisted hypocrite."

As the conversation was about to resume, a transparent white tendril emerged behind The Inmate, touching his shoulder. Daigrun VII hurriedly rushed to the prison, but his arch-nemesis present instantaneously faded from his naked eye. He paused his steps, sharpening his heedful eyebrows at the empty shell.

"VWX, please tell the wardens to keep the footage and scan any traces of Judilia if possible," Daigrun VII commanded, tapping the earpiece planted on his ears and echoing The Laser Master's voice.

"Besides that, I already saw how she kidnapped the criminal directly," The Alien Leader announced, planting his sedated look after his arch nemesis's bizarre disappearance. "After this, let's prepare the morning gathering."
