Lugh lay sprawled out on the cold, damp floor of the cell. The pile of straw from the corner was covering him like a blanket to combat the cold. He was used to this area being cold, but somehow with Maeve's betrayal and his loss of blood from Vali's attack, he resigned himself to the fact that he couldn't escape and that meant that for a second time, he wasn't going to be there to protect his people.
His heart was so full of heartbreak and he missed his parents. They would know what to do. At least this time, Vali had been placed in an adjacent cell so that he wouldn't kill Lugh. Though Lugh had very little reason to move on anymore. Vali's previous attack on him was just to wound his pride, but he had already lost all of his pride the day Maeve left him, took his coat, and now that she even sided with the werewolves and their king.
