As the battered survivors reached the seventh floor, the massive hall ahead was eerily silent. At the center stood a single figure in gleaming golden-black armor, his crimson eyes burning with an overwhelming aura of dominance.
"Who... is that?" one of the players whispered.
The answer came not from a teammate but from the system itself:
System Notification:Warning! You have encountered the Abyss Master, King of the Abyss of End.
The players' faces turned pale. They hadn't come to fight a boss—they had come to fight a god.
Without giving them time to react, Riko raised his sword. An enormous wave of dark energy surged forward, annihilating half of the survivors instantly.
Panicked, the remaining players retaliated with their strongest spells and skills. Meteors rained from the skies, lightning struck from above, divine blades descended—yet none of it touched Riko.
System Notification:Absolute Defense has nullified all damage.
With a single step, Riko closed the distance between himself and the players. Each swing of his sword obliterated groups of them. Even when surrounded, he did not falter—instead, his Eternal Wrath trait made his counterattacks even deadlier.
One of the strongest warriors, "Orion the Blade Saint," managed to land a direct blow on Riko's chestplate—only for his sword to shatter into dust upon contact.
"Impossible..." Orion gasped as Riko casually backhanded him across the hall, sending him crashing into the wall with a deafening boom.
In less than ten minutes, the hall was littered with corpses. Only one player remained, crawling backward in terror.
Riko approached, towering over the trembling figure. Instead of delivering the final blow, he leaned closer.
"Tell the world," Riko said, his voice like a death sentence. "The Abyss of End has a new master."
Then, with a flick of his hand, he teleported the survivor out of the dungeon—a living message to all who dared challenge him.
System Notification:Congratulations, Abyss King. Your reign of terror has begun.
Riko returned to his throne, satisfied.
