Tommy totally forgot about what would happen when the Stone family see the news and he did not know what to expect now that they asked to see Emma.
"You don't have to go?" Tommy managed to say.
"Yes I do." Emma said. "Well we already know what they want, so I want to get it over with."
The way Emma talked, it was like she has lost all hope and she did not want to do anything to clear her name.
"You can still try and explain everything to them, maybe they will believe you."
"Like you said "maybe" and the damage has already been done, there is no explaining myself out of it. At least now I will have nothing to do with Julian once I am done with the Stone family this evening. That is one bright side in all this." Emma gave a small smile.
"Emma."
"It's alright Tommy, I really appreciate everything you have done for me, and none of this is your fault, so it's okay."
