Daniel hadn't told her anything back at the airport.
"We're friends and good partners. I changed your return date so I could surprise her."
To make her trust him, he took out his phone and showed her a photo of him and Chantelle. It was taken without her knowing, but she was smiling at him.
"Uncle, please save my little brother…" she said quickly. She believed him now and didn't hesitate to ask for help.
"What happened?" Daniel asked as he followed the direction Stephanie pointed.
Through tears, Stephanie told him everything.
After dinner, she and Kane went to look for him. But just as she was about to walk ahead, she suddenly heard Kane scream, "Steph, run!"
She turned around and saw a man grabbing Kane. Then another man started chasing her.
Stephanie panicked and ran as fast as she could. Luckily, she escaped using the invisibility cloak.
