After a while of intense kissing, Anna and Carlos broke apart, their breaths laboured almost as if they'd run a marathon.
A split second later, Carlos smiled sheepishly and remarked:
"Congratulations, you're learning. However, you need to put in more effort."
Anna blinked. "More effort?"
"Of course. When kissing your boyfriend, you don't just allow him to do the kissing, or move your lips only when you are comfortable with it."
Anna couldn't believe her ears. "But that's because I was out of breath."
Carlos sighed. "Let's go down for dinner."
He swiftly climbed down, not even sparing her a second glance while Anna stared at his retreating figure.
The moment he was gone, Anna let out a deep breath, her hands palming her face.
"Why don't I learn… I wasn't supposed to stop in-between kisses. He's already disappointed in me."
