I woke up feeling refreshed and hungry, which was a first for me since arriving at the mansion. I have always either felt pain all over my body or I am still so annoyed with the event that might have occurred in the past with Alpha Ian.
I got dressed and headed to the dining room, looking forward to having breakfast for the first time.
As I entered the dining room, Keila greeted me with a warm smile. "Good morning, Emma! I am so glad to see you're feeling better today."
I smiled back at her, feeling a bit more at ease. "Good morning, Keila. Yeah, I am feeling much better today."
Keila helped me dish out some breakfast, and as we ate, I couldn't help but look around the room, expecting to see Ian. But he was nowhere to be found.
I shrugged it off, thinking that maybe he had left the mansion for the day. But as I continued to glance around the room, Keila noticed my gaze.
"Is everything okay, Emma?" she asked, concern etched on her face.
