A colossal shadow engulfed the ocean below. High above the clouds, a massive meteorite, its front ablaze from atmospheric friction, plummeted toward the sea with an ear-splitting roar.
Konan gasped in horror.
"A meteorite!? Is this also a Rinnegan ability?"
Naruto Uzumaki's expression remained calm.
"Yeah, it's a technique that combines the Rinnegan with the power of the Susano'o. During the Fourth Great Ninja War, he used this move to nearly annihilate an entire division of the Allied Shinobi Forces. And this time, it's a double strike."
Konan looked up, her face heavy with dread.
"Are we going to stop it?"
Naruto chuckled.
"Why bother? Resources should be spent wisely. Even with abundant chakra, wastefulness is never an option. Let's sit this one out for now."

Naruto and Konan vanished from the ocean's surface.
"Flying Thunder God?" Madara was momentarily surprised, then smirked knowingly.

"This ninja world is vast, yet small at the same time. Once you've set your sights on someone, running to the ends of the earth wouldn't make a difference, would it?"
"Hmph, you seem to know me well." Madara smirked.
"By the way, that paper woman—why didn't she return with you?"
Naruto chuckled.
"Facing the legendary Madara Uchiha, I can't afford to protect a 'weak woman.' If you were to take her hostage and demand the return of the Rinnegan, I'd be at a disadvantage."
Madara's expression darkened.
"Do I look like someone who would resort to such tactics?"
Naruto smiled.
"Whether you would or wouldn't is irrelevant. I simply consider all unfavorable possibilities and eliminate them. After all, I understand better than anyone the consequences of a single misstep."
"Hmph." Madara's tone carried a hint of admiration.
"Young as you are, you act with the caution of a seasoned warrior. Compared to that reckless brat, you're more like a battle-hardened veteran."
Madara's gaze sharpened, and he continued.
"How about this? Become my right-hand man, and I'll overlook the matter of the statues. Of course, you'll have to return the Rinnegan to me. As for the Nine-Tails—when I revive the Ten-Tails, I'll leave a portion of its chakra in your body so you won't die. It's a better deal than losing everything, isn't it?"
Pfft! A stifled laugh escaped from beneath Naruto's mask.
Madara frowned.
"What's so funny?"
Naruto waved dismissively.
"Nothing, really. I'm just surprised that you'd extend an olive branch to me. But I must decline."
His tone grew firm.
"The Rinnegan can be returned to you—when the time is right. But not now.
"And as for the Nine-Tails—Kurama—you can forget about it. You'll never lay a finger on him!
"And lastly, the one who should be worrying about losing everything isn't me—it's you!"
Naruto's calm yet unyielding words made it clear to Madara that recruiting him was impossible.
"I overestimated you, calling you mature for your age. You're still just a child. Very well, I'll break your arms and legs, reclaim the Rinnegan and the Nine-Tails myself."
With that, Madara lunged at Naruto like a storm.

The ocean roared as the two meteorites Madara had summoned earlier were drawn toward the gravity sphere, breaking apart into countless boulders that spiraled upward.
Even Madara, despite his immense power, couldn't resist the pull of the gravity field and began ascending toward the sky.
"Hmph. Just a slightly larger ant."
BOOM!
Madara activated his Susano'o, its hands spinning Magatama beads before launching them skyward.
"Yasaka Magatama!"
At the same time, Madara compressed a massive amount of Fire-Style chakra into an arrow and fired it toward the gravity sphere.
"Fire Style: Majestic Flame Arrow!"
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The Magatama and the Flame Arrow struck the gravity sphere in quick succession, shattering it with a deafening explosion. The Planetary Devastation crumbled before it could fully form, and the boulders fell back into the ocean.
Naruto's eyes narrowed.
"Oh? He destroyed the gravity sphere?"
Madara's voice was cold.
"Your tricks are finished. Now it's my turn."

Madara unleashed the Complete Body Susano'o, its twin swords slicing through the air with devastating force. Wherever the blades fell, the ocean split in two.

Naruto entered his Purple Lightning Chakra Mode, weaving through the onslaught of sword strikes.
"Madara's Complete Body Susano'o is far larger than Sasuke's. Using the same tactics I used against Sasuke won't work here."
Madara observed the streak of purple lightning darting around him and muttered,
"That purple lightning and its derived chakra mode... troublesome. If only my Edo Tensei Rinnegan could use Limbo, this would be much simpler."
His voice grew louder.
"But Naruto Uzumaki, you are not the original wielder of the Rinnegan. Using Planetary Devastation is your limit!"
Naruto smirked.
"Planetary Devastation? You think that's all I've got?"
Clap! Naruto clasped his hands again.
This time, the Planetary Devastation was different.
RUMBLE!
The boulders that had fallen earlier rose once more, converging on Madara's Complete Body Susano'o.
"What!?" Madara was taken aback.
Naruto's eyes burned with determination.
"This is an advanced version of Planetary Devastation. Instead of creating a gravity sphere, I use the target itself as the gravitational core. Of course, the target must possess massive chakra reserves—like a Tailed Beast, or in this case, your Complete Body Susano'o!"

The massive boulders completely enveloped Madara's Susano'o, forming an enormous sphere. The remnants of the two meteorites added to its mass, completing the Planetary Devastation.

Suddenly, cracks began to appear on the surface of the sphere. It was clear that Madara was on the verge of breaking free.

The cracks vanished, and the sphere became as solid as steel.
The super-weighted Planetary Devastation plummeted toward the ocean.
Naruto declared firmly,
"If you can break free from this, I'll admit defeat!"

The sphere crashed into the ocean, causing the entire sea to tremble.

Tidal waves radiated outward in all directions.
The Planetary Devastation, with Madara sealed inside, sank into the dark depths of the ocean.
