"I was just testing you because my wife said that you have changed." The owner of the inn stated, saying the reason behind his arrogance and condescending attitude he showed earlier.
"What?!" Lala gasped loudly, peeking her head out of Coco's hair to look at the man before her human friend, "He's married?!"
Same, Lala.. Same.. Coco thought, agreeing with the garden fairy's startled reaction.
"Your wife?" Coco asked, forcing a smile on her face and clearing her throat, "May I know who she is? Was she one of the people I have interacted with for the past few days?"
The man nodded his head and tied the string around the bag of money, securing the gold coins inside.
"She brought those fruits and the rest of the tiger yesterday, Mrs. Hughes." He said, a chuckle slipping past his lips that sounded pleasant for the ears.
