Sumaya dried herself off and slipped into a fresh set of undergarments before reaching for her clothes. She pulled on a pair of black jeans, snug but comfortable, then grabbed a plain white T-shirt and slipped it over her head. As the fabric settled against her skin, her gaze drifted to her shoulder.
The birthmark was back to normal. No eerie glow, no strange sensation. Just the same crescent moon shape etched into her skin as it had always been.
