He grabbed Peter's foot and swung him into the ground like a ragdoll, the boy quickly shot webbing at the man's eyes and backed away when he was blinded, he'd be the first to admit that hurt.
...
Alright, how was he gonna play this? He may have fought some guys here and there, but he didn't know how to deal with someone with four arms and drill hands! That was like, two more arms and drills that you should have, right?
He wasn't an expert in drill hands
The brunette rushed forward and punched the man square in the face, following his blow with rapid punches and kicks to his chest. Unfortunately, the villain finally ripped the webbing off his face and grabbed Peter with his two human hands.
"You're an annoying one, huh, bug?" He growled, increasing the grip he had on the teen.
"Has anyone told you the suit looks tacky?" Using his flexibility, Peter kneed him in the chin and made him let go. Once on the ground, Peter jumped straight up into the air and fired a barrage of webbing while running around him, encasing his opponent in a cocoon of webbing.
But why would he be let off that easy?
Out of the webbing emerged two drills, which proceeded to tear through the rest of the silk. Once free, he rushed forward and tackled the young hero to the ground; once he had secured him in one place, he jabbed his left drill into the boy's shoulder.
Peter screamed in agony, the spinning metal cutting through both flesh and fabric like paper. He placed both legs on the villain's chest and pushed with all his strength, sending him flying to the other end of the roof.
Alright.
That.
That really hurt, like a lot.
Quickly assessing the injury, Peter drew in a sharp breath as he watched the blood pour out of the wound. But he's dealt with stuff like this before.
Tapping the trigger on his web-shooter, the wrist device shot out a thick strand of webbing. He held back another scream as he tied the silk around his arm to stop the bleeding.
Just because he's dealt with stuff like this before doesn't mean he liked dealing with it.
At least it didn't go all the way through, though.
So that was an upside.
"Hey! That freaking hurt, man! You don't see me stabbing you or anything! cause I got manners!" Drawing in a sharp breath once more, Peter broke off into a sprint and tackled the man who was in the middle of getting off the ground.
But that didn't seem like the best course of action, since Peter easily was grabbed out of the air and choke slammed onto the ground.
Which also wasn't the best course of action since the roof conveniently decided to cave in under the weight at that moment, sending the two crashing onto the lower floor in a heap of dust and debris.
And wouldn't you know, Peter landed on his bad arm.
Cause why wouldn't he?
Peter shakily stood back up while coughing, waving away all the dust the fall had kicked up. "I'm not done yet, godfather!" He jumped up and stuck to the roof by his feet, quickly using it as a springboard to launch himself at the still recovering man, crashing through yet another floor.
Peter clung to the man, punching him repeatedly as he slashed wildly at him with his drills, cutting through his suit and drawing blood.
The two crashed through floor after floor, each one twisting the other to make them take the impact, until finally plummeting to the ground of the base level.
Peter huffed, doing his best to ignore the pain he was in. Quickly looking around the room, his lenses landed on a fire extinguisher hanging from the wall. Shooting a web, he tore it from the wall and into his hands.
As he felt the metal object in his torn gloves, his spider-sense blared. He looked down just in time to see a giant fist rocketing forward at his face, sending him flying across the room.
"I hope this doesn't ruin my dashing good looks…" He muttered, standing back up on shaky legs. His hand reached up to his face and touched his nose, quickly wincing at the contact.
Yeah, that was definitely broken.
He looked up to see the man walking forward with the fire extinguisher in his hands, his suit torn and face bruised. "This was an expensive suit, kid." He commented.
"Man, they sure did scam you! Yoink!" Shooting a web at the object, Peter yanked it out of the man's hands and into his own. He jumped forward, his makeshift weapon raised high. The man stabbed his drills upward in anticipation.
Seeing this, Peter decided to have a last-minute change of plans.
He threw the metal object forward with as much strength as he could muster, the fire extinguisher hitting the man straight in the face with a dull clang. Peter twisted in mid-air, shooting his legs outward and landing a flying dropkick in the man's face with a sickening crunch.
He didn't get back up.
Peter stumbled the landing, using an adjacent wall as support while taking heavy breaths
He was just so tired.
Seeing the unconscious man on the ground, he sighed and quickly encased him in a thick layer of webbing, making sure his drills wouldn't be able to cut through.
Looking down at his suit, it was nothing short of ruined. Cuts and gashes laid everywhere, the exposed skin having several cuts that varied in depth and size, the worst injury being his left shoulder that he thankfully couldn't feel anymore.
He was just so damned tired.
Groaning, he stood back up and ran as fast as his bruised legs allowed out of the building in search of Tokoyami, he had every ounce of faith in the guy, but he needed to make sure he was okay.
As he ran through the streets, he saw a mass of unconscious villains lying about, some with more bruising than others. As he neared the entrance, he heard the telltale struggle of a fight, which meant his classmate was still alive!
He'd jump for joy, but that felt inappropriate due to the current situation.
As he came out of a corner, he saw Dark Shadow easily fighting off 3threevillains, the bird-headed boy simply standing at a safe distance. Not 30 seconds later, a man with some sort of panda mutation fell to the ground.
Peter sighed, they were finally done.
As he ran toward the boy, he felt his heart rise at seeing that outside of a couple scrapes, he was fine. He was about to call out to him, but a sensation stopped him in his tracks.
A blaring he felt at the back of his skull he knew too well.
He scanned the area through his cracked lenses until finally landing on a fallen villain with quills for hair.
He had a gun out.
"TOKOYAMI, WATCH OUT!" He screamed, terror in his eyes.
He watched as the boy turned around to meet his gaze before adapting a defensive stand and summoning dark shadow.
*BANG!!!*
The sound cut through the air like a knife, Tokoyami screamed as he felt the led projectile pass through his thigh and out the otherside. Peter saw how Dark Shadow cried out in pain but was able to knock out the villain with the gun, the quirk quickly retreating back into under the shorter-boys dark cloak.
Peter sprinted forward, quickly kneeling down next to his friend. He saw the open wound and how his classmate held back screams.
"Tokoyami, I gotta stop the bleeding. Do you have something to bite into?"
He nodded and pointed into the belt his cloak hid, Peter opened the first pouch he saw and retrieved a small piece of leather.
He placed it into the injured teen's mouth and saw how he bit down onto it. He quickly shot a web on either side of his upper thigh before tying a strand of webbing around the wound like a tourniquet.
"Alright, let's get back to the class, alright?" He said, gently picking up the boy, placing him on his back, and starting to jog toward the zone exit.
"Y-You look horrible." Tokoyami weakly commented, looking at the boy's injured shoulder.
Peter only gave a light chuckle. "You should've seen the other guy."
The two exited the burning zone and stepped foot back out into the general USJ area, all they could see was chaos.
"What the hell happened…?"
