Cleopatra took Azrael by the hand, and Azrael turned to see her smiling face. She pulled him along gently and tried to move him forward.
But Azrael stopped and easily pulled his hand away. Cleopatra frowned at his action, but she didn't say anything.
She kept going, and Azrael followed beside her as they walked amongst the other demigods.
The streets were paved with stone, and most of the shops in the alley had a Victorian-style design that made them look ancient.
Azrael wondered how long they had been doing business for.
Demigods have been in existence for the better part of a thousand years now, but the shops didn't seem like they were that old, so Azrael could only guess that they were created during the Renaissance era when the Victorian style was more rampant.
That was long before the demigods created Divine Academy or the Divine Enforcers.
Just how old are these traders?
