"Alexis," Keelion, who stood over the bed where she was sleeping, pulled the duvet off her.
Alexis turned on the bed and peeled her eyes open the second Sereia's paws landed on her forehead.
"Wake up, kid!"
She glanced around in confusion, asking, "What? Why did you hit me?"
"I didn't touch you." Keelion leaned over, yanked her upright by her wrist, and pulled her down from the bed to the floor.
"Wait, what is going on?" she asked. "Is it morning? But the sky—"
"We're going for a run."
The information took a second to settle in her head before her eyes popped at him. "What?"
"We're going for a run," he repeated. "Put those clothes and some shoes on. Meet me outside after."
Her face screwed into a frown and she glared at him before she even knew it.
Keelion arched a brow at her. "Got something to say?"
"No." She quickly shook her head, slapping an immediate hand over her mouth.
