Althea burst into a peal of crazed laughter and threw her head back to stare at the ceiling. "The look I would see on that innocent face of his—that stupid face that is messing with Keelion's head." She laughed rather more before lowering her head to peer into Eleni's wet eyes.
"I heard…no, a little bird told me that your son loves you a lot. Just as much as you love him. So I wonder what will happen if I kill you, rid you of your useless existence. What do you think?"
Eleni pleadingly shook her head at her. "Please…don't hurt him. My son…he's all I have, everything that I have. I'm all he has, he'll never survive without me, he—he needs me, please…"
"All the more reason for me to get rid of you. I want to break your son and you are a one-way ticket for me to achieve that. Not to mention you aren't of any importance to me, so I don't really care if you're all he has. It's none of my business."
