Althea stepped down from the car. She glanced from left to the right and crossed the road. She approached the opened door of a shabby-looking building and stepped inside.
"Do you have an appointment?" the woman who stood at the only door in view asked.
Althea nodded. "I do. The name is Althea Sofor."
The woman plucked out the paper in her pocket and took a proper look at it. She peeked at her and stepped aside, opening the door.
Althea walked inside and it was shut behind her with a loud slam.
Everywhere was dark, she couldn't really see a thing until a candle within the room suddenly came to life on its own. That startled her before she sighted a woman seated at the table at the very center of the room.
Her fiery red hair poured all the way to the floor, eyes burning as red as a raging fire. She held an unimpressed look on her face while she stared at Althea.
"Would you like to take a seat?"
