"You, let go," Amelia said, a frown on her face as she struggled to free herself from the man's grip.
The man leaned in closer, his breath thick with alcohol. "Beauty, which family's young lady are you from? You promised to compensate me… it's only right you do this."
"Hey, leave Amelia alone," Sera slurred, her eyes blurred with alcohol-induced hiccups.
The man shifted his gaze to Sera, his eyes shining with familiarity as he muttered vaguely, "Isn't this the Langford little princess?"
Then he withdrew his eyes uninterestedly and turned back to Amelia, still staring closely. "Beauty, let's get to know each other…"
"Hey… you bad guy… let her go," Sera once again drunkenly interrupted, weakly hitting her fist against his arm. Seeing that she could do no damage, she furiously tried to drag him away, but she was just a girl compared to the man, who was almost twice her size, so he shoved her aside with a wave of his hand.
Sera was furious.
