Chapter 16 - Chapter 46-47-48

Chapter 46 – A Night Out with the Kids

It was a quiet evening in Khloé and Jacob's house. The sky was clear, and soft lights illuminated the spacious living room. Khloé had planned a special evening to spend with her children, True and Tatum, and Jacob was eager to join in on the fun. Despite his career and discipline, Jacob had a caring side and a knack for connecting with children.

Five-year-old True was full of energy and carried one of her favorite toys, while one-year-old Tatum watched with curious eyes from his playpen.

"Jacob, do you want to help build the fort?" Khloé asked as she gathered up pillows and blankets.

Jacob, who was on the floor playing with Tatum, looked up at her with a smile.

"Sure, let's build something epic."

True jumped up and down with excitement.

"It's going to be a giant castle!"

Using the couch cushions, blankets, and chairs, Jacob and Khloé helped True create a veritable fort in the middle of the living room. Jacob took the lead, instructing in his calm but firm voice.

"True, hold this end of the blanket while I adjust it here. It'll be more secure."

True held it carefully, her eyes shining with excitement.

"This is coming together beautifully!"

Khloé laughed as she watched Jacob get completely involved. He adjusted the details as if he were planning a mission.

"I think this will last until tomorrow, it's so well done," she commented.

Jacob looked at her and winked.

"I always plan for the long term."

After a few minutes, the fort was complete. It was big enough for True and Jacob to stand inside, with plenty of room for Khloé to join in.

Inside the fort, Khloé brought True a small snack while Jacob held Tatum on his lap. True asked Jacob to tell her a story, and he eagerly agreed.

"What do you want to hear, True?" — Jacob asked.

True thought for a moment, her fingers touching her chin.

"Something about when you were little."

Jacob laughed.

"Oh, this is going to be fun."

He began to tell a story about when he was a child, climbing trees and exploring the woods near his house. He described it in vivid detail, making True laugh out loud when he talked about being stuck in a tree for hours until his father showed up with a ladder.

"You were funny, Jacob!" True said with a laugh.

Khloé, who was watching the scene, felt her heart warm. Jacob's connection with children was something she deeply admired.

After the story, the evening evolved into lively games. True decided she wanted to play hide-and-seek.

"Jacob, you're the catcher!" she declared, running to hide.

Jacob put Tatum in the playpen and began counting.

"One… two… three… I'm coming for you, True!"

True laughed and ran to hide behind the couch, while Khloé watched with an amused smile. Jacob pretended he couldn't find her, walking around the room and asking loudly, "Where the hell is True? Did she turn invisible?"

When he finally "found" her, he picked her up and spun her around, making her laugh even more.

"You're really good at this, but I'm better!" he joked.

After much play, Khloé picked Tatum up to feed him while Jacob and True sat on the couch to watch a cartoon. Tatum seemed enchanted by the sounds and lights around him, while Khloé chatted softly with him. Jacob, with True cuddled up next to him, looked at Khloé and smiled.

"You're amazing with them." Khloé smiled back. "I'd say the same about you. They love you."

True looked at Jacob and asked curiously, "Are you going to live here forever?"

Jacob looked at Khloé for a moment before answering.

"Well, True, I guess so. I really like being here with you, your mom, and Tatum."

True smiled, clearly pleased with the answer.

"So you're kind of our family's superhero!"

Jacob laughed.

"I guess so."

When the night came to an end, Khloé took Tatum to his room while Jacob helped True put away her toys.

"Thank you for playing with me today, Jacob," True said with a sweet smile.

Jacob knelt down beside her and smiled.

"Thank you. You're so much fun, you know that?"

True hugged him, and Jacob hugged her back affectionately. When Khloé came back, she saw the scene and smiled.

"Ready for bed, young lady?"

True nodded and went to her room, with Jacob and Khloé following along to make sure she was comfortable.

After the kids were in bed, Jacob and Khloé returned to the now quiet living room.

"You were amazing with them today," Khloé said, sitting next to Jacob on the couch.

He put his arm around her and smiled.

"They make it easy. True is full of energy, and Tatum is a little explorer."

Khloé rested her head on his shoulder.

"You make me fall in love even more when I see how you connect with them."

Jacob kissed her forehead and replied softly:

"All of this is because of you. You are my priority now."

The night ended with the two of them hugging, grateful for the love and family they were building together.

Chapter 47 – Under the Steam of the Shower

Khloé's bathroom was filled with steam from the hot shower. The drops ran down the glass of the shower stall, while Khloé, with her eyes closed, let the water slide over her body, relaxing after a long day. The feeling was comforting, and the calm of the night made her feel even more at ease.

On the other side of the door, Jacob arrived silently. He knew Khloé was in the shower, and a smile appeared on his lips when he heard the sound of the shower. He had just come from the gym and, although he was tired, seeing Khloé was always invigorating.

Opening the bathroom door without making a sound, Jacob entered. The steam immediately enveloped his body, and he could see Khloé's silhouette through the fogged glass. She was on her back, her hair wet and her hands caressing her arms as she enjoyed the hot water.

Jacob slowly opened the shower stall and entered. Khloé, distracted, only noticed his presence when she felt his firm hands holding her waist.

— Jacob! — she exclaimed in surprise, but soon smiled, recognizing the familiar touch.

"You seemed to need company," he replied in a low, husky voice, close to her ear.

Before Khloé could respond, Jacob pressed her lightly against the shower wall. The cold surface contrasted with the heat of the shower and his body, making her gasp.

"What are you doing?" she asked in a mischievous tone, feeling Jacob's hands slide over her waist and hips.

He tilted his head, bringing his lips closer to her neck.

"Showing me how much you drive me crazy, Khloé," he whispered as his lips brushed her skin.

Khloé felt a shiver run through her body. The water continued to fall, running over both of them, while Jacob held her firmly, but with evident affection.

She turned to face him, her eyes shining with a mixture of surprise and desire. — You never cease to amaze me, do you?

Jacob smiled, that smile that always made her heart race.

"Never."

They were so close that it was impossible to ignore the energy between them. Jacob lifted one of Khloé's legs, holding her by the knee, while their bodies pressed even closer together. He kissed her deeply, his lips moving in perfect harmony, while his hands explored every curve of hers.

"Jacob…" Khloé murmured between kisses, feeling her breathing become heavier.

"Tell me, Khloé," he replied, keeping his gaze fixed on hers.

She smiled, biting her lower lip.

"You know exactly what you're doing to me."

Jacob tilted his head, tracing a line of kisses down her neck to her shoulder.

"And I'm going to keep doing it," he murmured, his voice deep and seductive.

The hot water seemed to intensify every sensation. Jacob turned Khloé to face the wall of the shower, wrapping his arms around her and pressing his body against hers. He held her so securely that she felt completely protected, but at the same time filled with the desire that only he could awaken.

Khloé let out a sigh as Jacob began to spread kisses across her back. His hands slid over her curves, each touch filled with intention.

"Do you have any idea how much you drive me crazy?" Jacob asked, his voice low in her ear.

Khloé smiled, closing her eyes as she gave in to the sensation.

"I think I do now."

The bath became more than just a routine. It was a moment of connection between the two, where words were not necessary to express what they felt. Jacob was attentive, knowing every detail of Khloé's body and knowing exactly how to make her feel unique.

She turned around again, this time pulling him in for an even deeper kiss.

"I think I like it when you take control," she said with a mischievous smile.

Jacob chuckled softly, cupping her face in his hands.

"And I like it when you surrender to me." Time seemed to stand still as the two explored the moment, surrendering to each other under the warmth of the water and the intimacy shared.

After a long time together, Khloé leaned against Jacob's chest, feeling his heart beat faster against hers. The water now fell more gently, almost like a soundtrack to the moment they shared.

Jacob stroked her wet hair, kissing her forehead.

"I think that was the best shower I've ever had."

Khloé laughed, hugging him tighter.

"And I didn't even know a shower could feel this good."

They stayed there for a few more minutes, just enjoying each other's presence. When they finally got out, Jacob wrapped Khloé in a large towel and carried her in his arms to the bedroom, as if she were the most precious thing in the world.

"You spoil me, you know that?" Khloé said as he gently placed her on the bed.

Jacob smiled, leaning down to kiss her once more.

"And I'll keep doing it, because you deserve it."

The night continued with laughter, affection and the certainty that the love they shared was unbreakable.

Chapter 48 – An Unexpected Encounter

The Los Angeles sun shone brightly as Jacob, Khloé, and their sisters walked through the busy streets of downtown. They decided to take advantage of the day to have lunch together at a well-known restaurant, and as always, the Kardashians' presence attracted curious glances.

Jacob, with his casual posture, walked alongside Khloé, laughing at some joke Kendall made. He was getting used to the dynamic pace of the family, although his calm and reserved personality contrasted with the vibrant and extravagant world of the Kardashian sisters.

As the group approached the restaurant, Jacob heard someone call his name.

"Commander Ward!"

Jacob stopped immediately, his trained gaze scanning the crowd. It was a sound he hadn't heard in years, but it brought back intense memories. He turned and saw a robust young man with short hair and determined eyes walking quickly toward him.

"Parker?" Jacob asked, recognizing the familiar face.

"Yes, sir!" — The young man stood in front of him, his posture straight, almost as if he were in formation. Despite the relaxed atmosphere, he still seemed to view Jacob as an authority figure.

Jacob held out his hand, which Parker shook tightly before leaning in for a quick hug.

"How long has it been, Parker? About ten years?"

"Almost that, sir. Since my days in BUD/S."

Khloé, Kylie, and Kendall watched the scene curiously, while Parker glanced at the women before turning his attention back to Jacob.

"It's an honor to see you again, Commander Ward."

Jacob laughed softly, raising his hands in a casual gesture.

"Parker, I told you there's no need for all this formality. I'm retired."

"With all due respect, sir, once a commander, always a commander," Parker replied with a smile.

Jacob shook his head, but there was pride in his gaze. He studied the young man for a moment, noting the confidence and maturity that had developed since his training days.

"And you?" Still on active duty? — Jacob asked.

Parker nodded, his expression changing to a mix of pride and seriousness.

"Yes, sir. I'm in DEVGRU now."

Jacob raised his eyebrows, impressed.

"In DEVGRU? Good job, Parker. I'm happy for you. I really am."

Parker smiled, clearly pleased with the compliment.

"Thank you, sir. I wouldn't be there without the teachings I received from you."

Jacob patted him lightly on the shoulder.

"You got there on your own merit. But tell me, which squadron?"

Parker hesitated for a second, as if considering whether to answer, but finally said,

"Gold Squadron."

Jacob smiled broadly.

"Gold Squadron. Impressive. I hear they've been doing a lot of heavy operations the last few years."

"Yes, sir. It's a constant challenge, but I'm honored to be a part of it."

As the two talked, Khloé approached, curious about the meeting.

"Jacob, who's your friend?" she asked, smiling politely at Parker.

Jacob turned to Khloé, placing his hand lightly on her back.

"This is Parker. One of the best students I've ever trained in BUD/S. He's now in DEVGRU, in the Gold Squadron."

Khloé looked intrigued.

"That's amazing. You must be very talented, Parker."

Parker gave her a modest smile, nodding slightly.

"I'm just trying to follow in Commander Ward's footsteps, ma'am."

Kylie and Kendall exchanged interested glances, clearly more curious about Jacob's military background.

"What's the Gold Squadron?" Kendall asked, leaning slightly toward Parker.

Jacob answered before Parker had to explain.

"It's one of DEVGRU's elite squadrons, like the Red Squadron."

Kylie laughed softly.

"Everyone around Jacob seems to do amazing things."

Jacob turned his attention back to Parker.

"Do you still remember those cold early mornings in Coronado?"

Parker let out a short laugh.

— How could I forget, sir? I thought I was going to die a few times. But your motivational speeches always kept us going.

"Speeches?" Khloé asked, raising her eyebrows with a playful smile.

Jacob shrugged, smiling slightly.

"Just trying to keep our spirits up."

Parker looked at Khloé.

"It wasn't just that, ma'am. He was ruthless, but fair. We always knew that if he was with us, we were safe."

Jacob was silent for a moment, clearly touched by her words.

"It's good to see all that hard work paid off, Parker. You're where you belong."

Parker nodded, but there was something in his expression that indicated he wanted to say more.

"Don't you ever plan on coming back, even if it's just to train the next generation?"

Jacob shook his head slowly.

"My time has passed, Parker. I support you from afar now. I still keep in touch with command, but I'm focused on other things."

Parker seemed to understand, though there was a hint of disappointment in his eyes.

After a few more minutes of conversation, Parker looked at his watch.

"I have to go, sir. I have a flight in a few hours."

Jacob held out his hand again, shaking it firmly.

"Take care of yourself, Parker. And remember, the work you do is important, but never forget to take care of yourself."

"Yes, sir. It was nice seeing you again, Commander. And meeting you," he said, nodding politely at Khloé.

When Parker walked away, Khloé looked at Jacob with a curious smile.

"He clearly admires you a lot."

Jacob gave her a small smile, his eyes far away.

"It's good to see the guys I trained are thriving. It's a reminder that I did something right."

Kendall crossed her arms, watching Jacob.

"You have so many stories you haven't told yet. When are you going to share more about your military life?"

Jacob laughed softly, looking away.

— Maybe someday.

With that, they walked into the restaurant, but the encounter with Parker stayed with Jacob. It was a reminder of the impact he had had, not just as an operator, but as a mentor and a leader. And for Khloé and her sisters, it was another piece of the puzzle about the fascinating man who had been a part of their lives.
