After leaving the site of his resurrection, Quitar, now known as Absoria, embarked on a journey through the depths of hell. He pressed on relentlessly, determined to conquer every level of this infernal realm. Soon, he reached the second level—a dark and oppressive place where the Felos, formidable guardians, maintained order with unparalleled brutality.
Without the slightest hesitation, Absoria began to exterminate every Felo that stood in his path, his power growing with each battle. His determination and thirst for vengeance were unwavering, fueled by the betrayal he had suffered.
Eventually, he arrived in a vast chamber at the center of which stood Styvose, the chief of the Felos guarding this level. Absoria approached him, his gaze cold and unyielding.
"What is your name, before I kill you?" he asked in a chilling tone.
The chief, aware of the fate that awaited him, replied defiantly, "Styvose."
"A fine name," murmured Absoria. "I suggest you let me pass."
But Styvose, loyal to his duty, readied himself and charged at Absoria, his blade drawn. In a single, lightning-fast motion, Absoria tore off Styvose's head. "You shouldn't have," he said, showing not a trace of mercy.
After defeating Styvose, Absoria destroyed the chamber with a mere gesture, reducing to ashes what had once symbolized the authority of the second level. He then activated a new ability—Resonance—which allowed his voice to echo throughout the entire level.
"Dear souls," he declared in a powerful voice, "you who have not been accepted by heaven and are condemned to eternal suffering, follow me. Become my soldiers of the Void, and I will grant you freedom, strength, and the chance to exact your vengeance."
From the shadows, four figures emerged, advancing toward him.
The first spoke, "My name is Camélia."
"Me, Celina," said the second.
"Garù," murmured the third.
"Styre," added the fourth.
Their lives were marked by pain and betrayal. All had been tortured, violated, and reduced to slavery. When they had dared to rebel, they were cruelly punished—wrongly accused of being the villains. Cold, emotionless tears streamed down Absoria's cheeks as he felt their pain, a pain that echoed his own.
"Advance," he commanded solemnly.
He extended his hand, and four symbols appeared, merging in the air before etching themselves onto the bodies of his new allies. In an instant, they shared not only each other's suffering but also that of their master. Their desire for vengeance burned stronger than ever.
Witnessing this, countless other souls from the second level began to move forward, ready to pledge allegiance to Absoria. Each was driven by the same thirst for revenge, finding in him a leader capable of guiding them toward the freedom and justice they had never known.
Thus was born the Army of the Void, uniting the tortured souls of hell under the banner of the God of the Void and of Evil—determined to upend the established order and exact revenge on those who had betrayed him.
