"I beg your pardon for presenting such an unseemly sight, my lord, my lady." Vanessa came back; they could continue their conversation. She came out empty-handed; there was no sign of the pizza or any other food.
"Where is the pizza?" Elara glanced in the direction of the kitchen.
Vanessa paused and said, "I threw it away; such things should not tarnish our kitchen." Then she moved to sit down on the corner seat of the table.
Elara saw no food before and furrowed her brows. "Are you not going to eat anything?"
"No, my lady. That pizza made me feel so nauseous that I don't feel like eating anything anymore." Vanessa replied with hesitation and suddenly changed the topic before Elara could continue asking her about it. "Can I ask something?"
She paused and looked at the two of them before continuing, "Did you sense or see anything before we entered that space gap?"
