Pierre had released one of the confidential documents that he stole from Eve's agency yesterday following his father's order, and was so frightened that his cousin would come to hunt him down.
Alex had a lot of influence, and knowing him, it wouldn't take long for Alex to find Pierre if he wanted to. He was so scared that he became jumpy, like an insect that would jump out if threatened.
"What are you saying, Pierre? Aren't you the one who said you want to help? I thought you wanted to make me proud," Roger rebuked on the phone. "Why are you so scared anyway? Alex is still your cousin, he's no better than you."
