"Wow." I sneered. "What happened to staying low and keeping your identity a secret from everyone?" I said just after he hung up, my voice heavy with sarcasm.
I decided that I wasn't going to say anything about the fact that he had just interrupted my call to threaten Jake because that conversation would've just driven me over the edge.
Liam simply stared at me, his expression unreadable and suddenly his gaze flickered to my arms and I turned to find blood trickling down my arm.
However, I wasn't surprised. I had noticed the blood gathering in the cut his fingernails left earlier when he finally let go of me.
I mean what did he expect? It wasn't like back then in school when I was wearing a long sleeve top. "I suppose you're happy now." I said putting my arms together with a smile that didn't reach my eyes, so he could see the wounds he left on my hand.
