"To what do we owe the honor, Delrico?" he asked, fully giving me his undivided attention.
"I made a promise. And I never back away from my promises. I promised to find Mario's killer." His wife gasped in shock, her eyes wide like saucers as the words spilled out of my mouth.
"I have found the murderer of Mario, and I will not rest until she's annihilated," I declared.
"Is she the wretch that killed my son?" she screamed out. Her husband held her back by simply tapping her hands slowly.
"Actually, she was paid to do it." They glared angrily at her. Helen, on the other hand, looked at them, unmoved by their stares.
"All I need is a name!" Mr. Maureen angrily spat. He slowly yet murderously said.
"Well..." Helen started, "I'm a paid mercenary. On the first day of last month, I had a job to execute. All I was ordered to do was pose as a maid and poison the groom to weaken him while my employer would finish the job." She concluded, in a cold aura.
