"You mean we should sacrifice the people of this city?" Luna asked after hearing Lucifer's entire plan.
Lucifer didn't say anything but nodded.
As Lucifer had predicted, Luna didn't seem to be very supportive of his plan. That was why he didn't want to tell her about it. He knew that Luna would react like this, and it would lead to an argument between them.
"Isn't there any other way?" Luna hesitantly said.
Lucifer looked straight into the girl's eyes and said in a serious tone:
"To me, sacrificing another person's life, no matter the circumstances, is always a heavy decision and cannot be easily justified. But in extreme situations, where life and death are weighed against each other in a difficult context like this, sometimes it is the only choice to stop an even worse nightmare from occurring."
Lucifer took a breath and continued:
"Moreover, the people here are no longer human. Do you think there are any humans who act like the people out there?"
