John Morgan Jr. shrugged off Andrew Carnegie's concerns with a casual air, as if the situation required no further thought.

"They've always been like that. No need to overthink it."

"If only this were your father, the original John," Carnegie mused bitterly. "He would've torn apart the Democrats or started digging into Roosevelt's dealings by now."

Looking at the younger Morgan, Carnegie felt an overwhelming sense of frustration.

"Don't worry so much," Morgan continued with a confident grin. "Everything will work out. We've even made a small investment in the Philippines, and it's looking quite promising."

"Fine. Just don't overcommit to the Philippines," Carnegie replied, his voice heavy with warning.

Morgan chuckled dismissively. "You worry too much."

Watching the younger Morgan's carefree attitude, Carnegie could only sigh.

"With people like him, it's no wonder Roosevelt runs unchecked."
