Synopsis
An ordinary young man lives his life day to day, without going through any unusual experiences. He hasn't achieved anything remarkable. He has a job like any other, has a couple of close friends, but being in a similar situation, they can't go out and enjoy themselves, and he hasn't had a girlfriend. However, his life suddenly changes. He falls ill. He doesn't know if his destiny was to spend the rest of his life in a hospital, or if he would be able to recover from this illness and return to his tortuous life. But karma changes his destiny and reincarnates him in a new world, or rather, an alternate Earth. In this new world, he must start from scratch, and not just rhetorically. He must lead the village hidden in the mountains where he was reborn through a complete transformation if he wants to survive the challenges he will face in the future. Not only must he face small local villages, but he must also grow up between two great empires, only to be able to face a power greater than those lands have ever seen. The Arrival of the Colonizers. . ---- . This is a novel where the protagonist is reborn in one of the pre-Hispanic peoples, in present-day Colombia, a few years before the arrival of the Conquistadors of America. He must grow his people from a much less developed one, compared to the European powers of the time, to a kingdom capable of defending its territory from the many encounters with ships from the Atlantic. The initial development will be quite rapid and will be based on the protagonist as the leader of a new kingdom, bringing basic technologies from the future. The protagonist will have a harem, which is part of the customs of this people. In case you want to look it up, the people are called "Muiscas." I suggest using the Spanish language on Wikipedia and then translating it into your language with the translator available on your device, as the information is much more complete in this language. Also, I would like to clarify, as a curious fact, that it is thanks to this people that the legend of "El Dorado" is known. . ---- . By the way, my native language is not English, in case you haven't noticed, and I rely on several very sophisticated translation tools (Google).

Chapter 1 - Prologue

The young man laughed out loud, commenting, "Hahaha… even the Mayans could defeat the Persians if their commander is a disaster". With a sense of satisfaction, he concluded his game of Age of Empires and reflected, "Nothing better than playing a strategy game on a Monday morning".

After closing the game, he began packing his backpack and headed off to college. He was immersed in a career he wasn't passionate about, and like many others around the world, he feared that his future would be limited to a job he didn't want. However, he understood that this was life; he had to grow up, study, and aspire to something more than being a simple worker, to start a family, and perhaps, in time, achieve goals that seemed out of reach.

But fate had something in store for him that he couldn't escape.

Years later.

"It's incredible, I don't even have time to play now. I should have chosen another career instead of finishing this pointless assignment", the young man complained, frustrated by the extra hours he'd been forced to work. "Besides, my stomach pain has gotten worse and worse", he muttered as he rode the subway car. "Being sick is the last thing I needed to make my situation worse", he thought, feeling a faint fear creeping in.

Dub, dub.

Suddenly, the pain intensified, sweat began to trickle down his back, and his face became covered in a pale layer of perspiration. His hands sought comfort by massaging his stomach, but the discomfort persisted.

Dub, dub.

Fighting the pain, he tried to take out his cell phone to call emergency services, but the suffering prevented him from acting clearly, and he ended up dropping the device to the floor.

Dub, dub.

"I don't think I'm going to die here", he thought before fainting.

Sometime later.

Dub, dub… Dub, dub, dub.

"The rhythm is different from what I remember", the young man reflected upon regaining consciousness. But he quickly realized that it wasn't a heartbeat. "What the hell am I seeing?!", he exclaimed in alarm as he opened his eyes.

In front of him was a group of brown-skinned giants staring at him in disbelief. They wore clothes he had never seen before and wore gold ornaments in their hair and on their clothes.

"They're not giants, it's me who's small", he thought in panic, noticing a small hand moving from his body. It didn't take a genius to understand that he was inside a body that wasn't his own.

"Have I been reborn?", he wondered, lost in confusion.

A few years later.

"Son of Heaven, Ahuizotl's envoy has expressed his acceptance of the deal, but requires that we provide him with more liquor than we had originally agreed upon", reported a priest standing next to the Son of Heaven.

"Fine, there's no problem with that agreement. However, you must pay an additional fifty percent for the remaining product", replied the young man known as the Son of Heaven.

"As you see fit", the priest replied respectfully.

"It seems that time is running out before the Europeans arrive", the young man reflected, feeling a slight unease. "I hope we are ready", he added with a hint of anxiety.

A couple of years passed.

"So, Don Cristoforo Colombo, to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit to my lands?", a young man said to the man dressed in splendid armor who had landed on the islands. In the distance, three ships with white sails could be seen, and on the shore, a pair of landing boats.

"It's amazing that he can understand our language", the man commented, amazed by the skills of the first local he had encountered on this long and arduous journey.

"It's hard to say that his language closely resembles a language of the future, or perhaps it does?", the young man thought, observing the reaction of the man who, in another world, would be the discoverer of America.
