Yang Tao spent the whole day organizing and finally finished sorting out all the boxes in the warehouse.
"Stacking things higher is really useful! It takes up way less space and makes finding stuff so much easier." He admired how each stack in the boxes had reached ten thousand items, amazed at how convenient this stacking method was. Among all the new mods that had appeared, the most exciting thing for him was the addition of more practical equipment. With these, almost everything could be fully automated. Even the monster farm had been upgraded to an ultra-efficient mode using evil essence.
Now, Yang Tao was flying far away, looking for a place to develop the Thaumcraft mod. He planned to bring back two NPCs first—grinding for Soul Shards and kill counts was just too boring.
"Better to go far away! Thaumcraft is too dangerous, always causing pollution out of nowhere!" He picked a spot far from home and cleared out a platform.
He took out the Thaumcraft guidebook and started studying.
As he learned, he followed the book's steps to develop various aspects of Thaumcraft. With plenty of resources, progress was incredibly fast.
Just then, a new message popped up in the chat group.
Zhang Wenjing: "Admin, I just got my letter—school is finally starting!!! I've been waiting forever! (|||)"
Yang Tao: "School's finally starting? When are you going to Diagon Alley? I want to go too!" He was really interested in the magical world and wanted to check it out.
Zhang Wenjing: "Come over then! We can go together. Sooner or later, I was going anyway!"
Seeing her message, Yang Tao stopped what he was doing and used the chat group to travel to the world of *Harry Potter*.
In the blink of an eye, Yang Tao appeared next to Zhang Wenjing. She had grown quite a bit since the last time he saw her. Europeans tend to mature faster, and since she had the mind of a twenty-something adult, she looked around seventeen or eighteen.
Seeing him arrive, Zhang Wenjing was thrilled and immediately hugged him.
"You're finally here, Admin! You only show up when the story starts, huh?" She complained while pulling him to sit on a park bench.
Yang Tao was caught off guard by the sudden hug and gave a wry smile. "I was just too busy! I had no time!"
"Excuses! All excuses!" She acted just like a little sister throwing a tantrum.
Not wanting to argue, he changed the subject. "Why are you at the park instead of Diagon Alley?"
"I came to a quiet place so you could teleport here easily! Besides, Muggle-born wizards like me are usually guided to Diagon Alley by a professor. My escort should be arriving soon."
Yang Tao suddenly remembered—Hermione was also brought to Diagon Alley by Professor McGonagall in the story.
"Your parents didn't come with you? They're okay with you going alone?" He was surprised. Normally, parents would be curious about something like this. Why weren't they tagging along?
Zhang Wenjing rolled her eyes at him. "Since you said you'd come with me, I told them not to worry. I've always been independent since I was a kid, so my parents trust me. Plus, I promised to bring them here later."
As they were chatting, Professor McGonagall arrived and greeted Zhang Wenjing. "Wenjing, are you ready? And who is this?"
Zhang Wenjing stood up and introduced him. "This is my older brother, Yang Tao. He's coming with me to buy school supplies. Professor McGonagall, I'm all set!"
Professor McGonagall nodded at Yang Tao, and he smiled and nodded back as a greeting.
"Alright, let's go," she said, leading them toward Diagon Alley.
On the way, Yang Tao quietly asked Zhang Wenjing, "Why is she calling you Zhang Wenjing here too?"
Hearing his question, Zhang Wenjing paused for a moment, then laughed. "Of course, my name is Zhang Wenjing. My grandfather immigrated from China. My dad is Chinese, and my mom is British, but her last name is also Zhang. So, when I was little, they just kept my original name."
Yang Tao nodded in understanding.
Before long, the three of them arrived at the Leaky Cauldron. It turned out the park they were in wasn't far from the pub.
Professor McGonagall walked straight up to a family—it was Hermione's. "Mr. Granger, let's go."
She then led everyone to the back door of the pub. With a few taps on the brick wall, the entire thing folded away like a magical puzzle, revealing a lively alley bustling with people.
