Yang Tao searched for a whole day and only found an Entei. It looked cool, sure, but no other legendary Pokémon spawned after that!
"This is just unfair! When I'm not looking, you guys are everywhere. But the moment I start searching, you all just disappear!"
With no other choice, Yang Tao headed back home.
Suddenly, he noticed Zabuza gathering berries in the orchard and his eyes lit up.
"Wait, I have Haku!"
Yang Tao quickly flew over to find Zabuza.
"Zabuza, why do I only see you? Where's Haku?"
Hearing this, Zabuza was speechless. *Boss, why are you looking for my wife first thing after seeing me??*
"Boss, she went mining! She said she wanted to check it out."
Yang Tao didn't say much. He hadn't been underground yet either. He opened the chat window and contacted Haku.
"Haku, come back for a bit. I need you for something."
Not long after, Haku returned from the underground and flew to Yang Tao's side.
"Boss, what do you need me to do?"
Yang Tao took out a few Master Balls and handed them to Haku. "Haku, go look for any legendary Pokémon. If you find one, catch it for me. The kind that triggers a notification when it spawns."
Haku nodded and took the Master Balls.
After giving Haku instructions, Yang Tao returned to the Terraria world to continue challenging bosses and unlock the next mod.
Back in Terraria, he opened the treasure bag from the Eye of Cthulhu and got some Crimtane Ore and Tissue Samples.
But the Crimson armor had lower defense than his Quantum armor and couldn't fly, so Yang Tao didn't bother crafting anything from it.
He flew into the sky, searching for the dungeon, getting ready to fight Skeletron.
"I've already reached the ocean, so where's the dungeon?"
After searching the coastline for ages, he still hadn't found it.
Then, he suddenly spotted a person floating on the water. They weren't sinking at all, almost like they were asleep.
Yang Tao flew closer. It was a young boy, probably around ten, wearing a hat.
"A fisherman? A fisherman!!! Please don't be like the one in the game!"
Seeing the fisherman, Yang Tao's mood instantly lifted. His frustration from not finding any legendary Pokémon or dungeons completely vanished!
But instead of talking to the boy immediately—just in case he drowned—Yang Tao waited on the shore for him to drift closer.
Soon, the fisherman floated over, and Yang Tao went up to talk to him.
"So, you saved me? Looks like I got myself a good servant!"
Yang Tao: "…."
After accepting the quest—
"I don't know which is worse: a skeleton fish or a skeleton fish with hands. That Skeleton King Fish hiding deep in the caves scared the hell out of me! I think it's also under someone's control, just like that old man guarding the dungeon.
I'll give you two fishing baits. Go catch it for me!"
Listening to the fisherman's blunt way of talking, Yang Tao nodded kindly. "Huh, he's not hard to talk to at all. Why do people hate the fisherman so much?"
Following the quest prompt, Yang Tao headed straight to an underground cave to start fishing. But right now, he could only make a Bloodstained Fishing Rod, so he slowly began fishing in the underground lake.
"Wait a second! I can enchant stuff, right?"
He immediately teleported back to Minecraft and ran to the enchanting table to give it a try.
"Holy crap, it actually works! So, if I reforged Terraria weapons to Mythical first and then enchanted them, wouldn't fighting bosses be a breeze?"
Looking at the Bloodstained Fishing Rod in his hand, now enchanted with Luck of the Sea III, Lure III, and Unbreaking III, he was very satisfied!
Although… he had no idea what Unbreaking III was supposed to do on a fishing rod with no durability.
"This fisherman quest is going to be much easier from now on!"
Yang Tao was about to head back to the Terra world, but before leaving, he suddenly remembered something. He crafted a bunch of wooden spikes and packed them in his bag.
Back in the cave, he started fishing again. Maybe it was the blessing of the sea, but he caught a ton of wooden crates. Before long, he reeled in a skeleton fish.
Yang Tao returned to the fisherman, who had already moved into the empty house he had built earlier.
He handed the fish over to the fisherman.
"Wow! You actually completed the quest and lived to tell the tale. Give it to me, then get lost!"
Yang Tao: "Orphanage! This guy has to go to the orphanage. No, wait, he's too rebellious!"
Right then and there, Yang Tao built another house on the empty land nearby. He covered the floor with wooden spikes and used a name tag to rename the fisherman to "Orphan."
But since he had a kind heart, he couldn't bring himself to treat the fisherman too cruelly. So, he built another room upstairs and invited the nurse to move in, making sure she could heal him anytime.
