Chapter 12 - The Search for Arfrotian and Unveiling Angelic Schemes

Azuraelis, the divine consciousness of the Primavius Azureonic megaverse, had ventured far from her watery domain to find Arfrotian. Having followed faint traces of his presence, she arrived in the icy omniverse where he had chosen to train. It was a place where the cold was merciless, and life was scarce—a barren realm unsuited for most beings. But Azuraelis was no ordinary being; her divine nature allowed her to withstand the relentless chill. Nevertheless, even she felt the biting winds and desolation as she began her search.

She found herself in a vast expanse of unending white and jagged icy formations. Despite the harsh environment, Azuraelis pressed on, her determination unwavering. The barren land she traversed was, unbeknownst to her, the megaverse of Rodentia. With no guide and no knowledge of its name, she simply referred to it as "this frozen wasteland." Her only goal was to find Arfrotian—the one she admired deeply for his selfless dedication to others, even if it meant isolating himself.

Discovering Remnants of Red Ice

As she ventured deeper into Rodentia, Azuraelis noticed something peculiar remnants of a strange, crimson ice scattered across the landscape. These patches of red ice shimmered unnaturally against the pale backdrop, radiating an aura of paradoxical heat and cold. It was unlike anything she had encountered before, and it immediately caught her attention.

Further ahead, she stumbled upon a void in the ice—an area where everything seemed to have been utterly erased. The void was cold beyond comprehension, and the air around it felt heavy, as if the space itself mourned the absence of whatever had once been there. Azuraelis touched the edges of the frozen void, and a chill ran down her spine. She realized this was no ordinary ice; it was the aftermath of Arfrotian's Red Ice, Pandora.

"So, this is where he's been practicing," Azuraelis mused, her voice soft but filled with admiration. The destructive potential of Red Ice was clear, but what impressed her most was Arfrotian's restraint. Rather than risk harming others, he had come to this desolate place to hone his power in isolation. It was a testament to his sense of responsibility and his unwavering dedication to protecting those he cared for.

Her admiration for him deepened. First, he had risked his life to save the Lunizen children from the outside ruler. Then, he had saved her from the same outside ruler who had threatened her to submit to him, who had taken those children hostages. And now, he had chosen solitude over endangering others.

Azuraelis smiled faintly, her resolve strengthening. "You've done so much for others, Arfrotian. I won't let you bear this burden alone. I'll find you and stand by your side."

An Unexpected Encounter

As Azuraelis continued her search, she noticed movement in the distance. Squinting against the icy winds, she saw figures shrouded in light—angels. Her initial surprise was soon replaced by caution. What were angels doing in this desolate megaverse? From what she knew, this omniverse was scarcely populated, with only the shadow elves of Caisilia and the angels of Luminia inhabiting it. Yet here they were, in the barren realm of Rodentia.

Azuraelis approached silently, using her divine powers to mask her presence. She crept closer until she was within earshot of their conversation. The angels, oblivious to her presence, were engaged in a heated discussion.

"We've mapped out the key regions of Rodentia," one angel said, his voice authoritative. "Once we secure this megaverse, we'll have the strategic advantage to crush the shadow elves in Caisilia. They'll have no choice but to submit to our rule."

Another angel nodded. "Rodentia may be barren, but its strategic position makes it invaluable. If we claim it, the shadow elves will be surrounded on all sides. Their black ice magic won't save them from annihilation."

Azuraelis's eyes narrowed as she listened. The angels' plan was clear: they intended to conquer Rodentia, not for its resources but to gain a tactical edge over the shadow elves. It was a calculated move to assert dominance and expand their influence.

Azuraelis's Growing Concern

Hearing their plans, Azuraelis felt a surge of anger. The angels' ambition threatened not only the shadow elves but also the delicate balance of this icy omniverse. Conquering Rodentia and subjugating the shadow elves would only lead to further conflict and instability.

She debated her next move. Confronting the angels directly would risk escalating the situation, and she had no desire to start a conflict unnecessarily. However, she couldn't ignore their actions either. She needed to warn someone—perhaps Luvania, the shadow elf queen, or even Arfrotian himself. But first, she had to find him.

Resolving to Act

As the angels began to disperse, Azuraelis retreated silently, ensuring she wasn't detected. She glanced back at the barren expanse of Rodentia, her heart heavy with concern. This omniverse, though desolate, was now at the center of a brewing conflict that could have far-reaching consequences.

"Arfrotian," she murmured to herself, "I hope I find you soon. This place needs you more than ever."

With renewed determination, she pressed on, following faint traces of his presence. The red ice, the frozen voids—they were her only clues. She resolved to reach him before the angels' plans could come to fruition. Together, they might be able to prevent the looming chaos and protect the balance of this icy omniverse.
