Talia sharply sensed the subtle movements in the area. She turned her head instantly, locking her gaze onto Kino.
Her eyes were filled with vigilance and doubt. This place allowed no one to enter except for her father, Ra's al Ghul, and herself.
"Father, who is he?" she asked coldly.
"My master, the new leader of the League of Assassins," Ra's al Ghul answered calmly.
Talia was stunned. It was inconceivable that her arrogant and fanatical father would submit to someone else. He had to be under some kind of control!
Without a second thought, Talia lunged toward Kino, her eyes filled with murderous intent.
Ra's al Ghul quickly stepped in to block her attack. Within just a few exchanges, he had her subdued and unable to move.
"Kill him, Damian!" Talia shouted to her son.
Without hesitation, Damian struck out with the small dagger in his hand, aiming directly at Kino.
At that moment, a black tendril shot out, swiftly knocking the dagger from Damian's hand before lifting him into the air.
Then, a black monstrous head emerged from behind Kino, revealing a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth as it growled menacingly, "I love eating tender little children."
Damian's face turned deathly pale. His small body trembled uncontrollably as fear overwhelmed him. Instinctively, he turned his head toward his mother, Talia.
Despite his rigorous training in the League of Assassins, he was still just a child. Faced with such an overwhelming terror, his inner fragility and reliance on his mother were laid bare.
"Venom, don't scare him so much," Kino said.
"I won't. He is, after all, Batman's son," Venom muttered before placing Damian back on the ground.
As soon as his feet touched the floor, Damian stood there in a daze, staring blankly at Venom, who had reverted to human form.
His small face was stiff with fear. He didn't even resist when Venom playfully pinched his cheek, much like a frightened little rabbit, allowing himself to be handled without protest.
"This kid is so obedient. Kino, can I keep him?"
Kino sighed helplessly and replied, "Do you think he's a pet? Just because he's cute, you want to take him home? I'm taking the entire League of Assassins with me. This little guy stays with his father."
"Bruce Wayne raising a child? That's a disaster waiting to happen," Venom scoffed, recalling the fate of previous Robins—each one more rebellious than the last.
"But Alfred is there, and we can send his mother too. That way, the whole family can be reunited," Kino said, unwilling to take on the responsibility of raising someone else's child.
"...Poor kid, neither of his parents is normal," Venom muttered sympathetically while patting Damian's head. It was rare for Venom to show such sentiment, likely a result of being in human form.
Damian, still bewildered, couldn't understand their conversation. He only hoped that the strange, terrifying creature would leave soon.
"If you really like kids, we can have one ourselves," Kino suggested.
"Not now. I don't have full control over genetic manipulation yet. If I have a child, I want them to be perfect," Venom firmly replied.
Although Venom could give birth, she wanted a child who carried both Pamela's and Kino's genes. It was something she had already planned for.
Meanwhile, Talia remained pinned to the ground, unable to move.
"Who are you people?" she growled furiously.
Kino ignored her question and walked directly toward the Lazarus Pit.
He activated his enhanced vision, but the thick, luminous blue liquid obscured his sight, preventing him from seeing its true source.
"Ra's al Ghul, order all assassins to return to the castle and remain on standby. No one is to act without my command," Kino instructed without turning back.
"Yes, my master," Ra's al Ghul responded respectfully.
Once all the assassins had returned to the castle, Kino displayed his immense strength. Grabbing Ra's al Ghul with one hand and Talia with the other, he picked up Damian as well. Then, with a single powerful leap, he soared into the sky.
Talia's mind reeled in shock. Superman? But Superman is supposed to be dead… or does he simply have flight abilities? She stared at Kino in disbelief.
Damian remained silent and motionless. His obedience made Kino glance at him twice. This little boy really was well-behaved. He had also inherited the striking good looks of both his parents. Kino almost considered keeping him.
Upon reaching the mountain base, Kino gently set them down before looking up at the towering snow-capped peak. Then, he braced himself and charged straight into the mountain, leaving behind a massive crater.
"What is he doing?"
Talia turned to Ra's al Ghul with confusion, but instead of answering, he remained silent, as if already understanding his master's intent.
A deep rumbling sound echoed as the earth trembled violently. The entire snow-covered mountain began to rise into the air.
Talia's eyes widened in disbelief. She watched in pure shock as Kino effortlessly lifted an entire mountain.
Ra's al Ghul twitched at the corner of his mouth, mentally sighing. Master truly meant it when he said he would take the entire League of Assassins with him.
Even Damian's small mouth hung open in awe. To him, this power was beyond human capability. His young mind was shaken to its core.
Kino carried the colossal snow mountain, walking step by step into the depths of Hell.
Once inside, he found Xi and quickly gave her instructions. "Xi, place this mountain here for now. Arrange things accordingly."
Xi nodded in acknowledgment, and Kino immediately left.
Returning to Ra's al Ghul, Kino stated, "You have five days to handle your affairs. After that, you will come with me."
Ra's al Ghul nodded respectfully.
Then, Kino grabbed Talia and Damian once again and, in a flash, took off toward Gotham.
As they traveled, Kino began contemplating. I should find a way to acquire spatial teleportation abilities. That would make things far more convenient.
Just then, he felt something wrapping around his leg. He assumed Talia was afraid of heights and ignored her. However, when he felt a soft touch on his chest, he looked down.
Talia's lips curled into a seductive smile, her delicate fingers lightly tracing his chest.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
"Isn't it obvious? Why don't we find a hotel for a more… intimate conversation?"
Her voice was soft and alluring. Her gaze met Kino's without hesitation, filled with undisguised desire.
She wanted a child with Superman's strength. If her child inherited even half of his power, conquering the world would be effortless.
"Your child is right here," Kino said, his eyes darkening slightly.
"Ignore him. Or… if you prefer something more thrilling, he can watch," Talia purred.
She thought Kino hesitated because of Damian, so she pressed herself even closer, fully confident in her ability to seduce any man.
But what she failed to realize was that Kino was far from ordinary.
