Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: Slave Contract

Xi led a group of demons rampaging through the castle with overwhelming momentum.

Under Mephisto's orders, the castle had very few guards, making it feel empty and desolate.

"Who are you... Ah!"

"Wait, I surre—Ah!"

With Xi leading the charge, they showed no mercy. Any demon they encountered was mercilessly slaughtered. Their path was drenched in blood, and soon, they found the treasury.

The grand doors of the treasury were tightly shut, but such obstacles were meaningless before them.

With a simple wave of her hand, Xi unleashed a tremendous force, shattering the doors into countless fragments.

Inside, mountains of treasures and rare artifacts gleamed under the light, their brilliance enough to blind anyone with greed. Xi's eyes shone with excitement as she led the demons inside.

Piles upon piles of gold, mystical artifacts—an unimaginable fortune.

"Space Demons, Devouring Demons, take everything." Xi commanded without hesitation.

At her command, the Space Demons—humanoid creatures with hollow stomachs—opened the void in their abdomens, unleashing a powerful suction force.

The treasury's gold, jewels, and rare artifacts were irresistibly pulled in, vanishing into the abyss of their stomachs.

The Devouring Demons, resembling massive serpents, opened their maws wide, swallowing everything in their path. Their throats were like bottomless pits—no matter how precious the gems or how mysterious the scrolls, everything was devoured.

Yet, Mephisto had amassed his wealth over endless ages. No matter how ravenous the demons were, it was impossible to empty the vault in mere moments.

"Wait, stop, I surrender! Your Hell—I will no—!"

Before Mephisto could finish speaking, Kino sent him flying with a devastating punch.

This time, Mephisto truly admitted defeat. It wasn't just Kino's monstrous strength—if this continued, his entire realm would collapse.

"You want to surrender? I refuse."

Kino's figure blurred as he rushed forward, unleashing a brutal onslaught.

Each punch carried an unfathomable force, leaving Mephisto utterly helpless, his wails of agony echoing through Hell itself.

"Don't think I have no means to stop you!"

Mephisto's eyes widened in fury as he attempted to manipulate the authority of Hell, trying to expel Kino from his domain.

But suddenly, his expression twisted in horror.

"What have you done to my Hell?!"

He could feel it—his connection to Hell was weakening. Someone was tampering with the very core of his realm!

"You guess."

Seeing Mephisto's panic, Kino smirked, already knowing that Venom had succeeded.

In a dark underground chamber, a blood-red crystal pulsed ominously, tightly wrapped in black, tendril-like structures.

"They found out?"

Venom's rasping voice muttered. Now that he had been discovered, he stopped holding back, his corruption spreading rapidly. At the same time, the crushing pressure on Kino vanished completely.

From the moment Mephisto had shown malice toward Pamela, they had decided to kill him.

But killing a Hell Lord was no simple task. They first needed to strip him of his authority. So, the moment they were dragged into Hell, they began secretly searching for its core.

Once they found it, they acted without hesitation.

Kino engaged Mephisto in a fierce battle, drawing all of his attention, while Venom infiltrated the hidden chamber, corrupting the very foundation of Hell itself.

"Get out of my way!"

Mephisto was desperate. He tried to escape and rush back to his castle, but Kino blocked him at every turn.

At this moment, Mephisto was nothing more than a powerless punching bag, taking hit after hit from Kino's relentless assault.

With the suppression of Hell gone, Kino could finally unleash his full strength. Each attack carried enough power to shake the very fabric of the realm.

The demons who had been fighting elsewhere froze in terror. The ground split apart, massive fissures forming as if the apocalypse had arrived.

Hulk and his group had already fled back to the castle. Thanks to the combined efforts of the Mountain Demons reinforcing it, the castle barely survived the cataclysmic chaos.

"What terrifying strength… This is His Majesty at full power." Basa muttered in awe as he watched the battle unfold.

"Honestly, Hulk, the fact that you survived a punch from the Young Master is insane." Abomination remarked.

"Hulk... still hurts." Hulk rubbed his stomach, recalling the past blow. Even now, he could feel the phantom pain of that strike.

"Wait! I'll give you whatever you want! Pure souls, grimoires, wealth—I can give you anything! Just stop!"

Mephisto had lost all his previous arrogance. His voice was now filled with desperation and fear.

He deeply regretted everything. What he had thought was an easy prey turned out to be a dragon—a ruthless, unstoppable force.

Now, he only hoped to preserve his existence. If the corruption continued, he would lose his very authority as a Hell Lord. Without it, he would be reduced to a mere powerful demon, easy prey for others.

Even if Kino spared him, countless demons would seek his soul. The longer one lived, the more they feared death.

"Then sign this."

Hearing those words, Kino stopped in midair and tossed a black parchment toward him.

"A demonic contract?"

Mephisto grabbed it and, upon reading, his face turned ghastly pale.

This wasn't just a demonic contract—it was a slave contract.

Becoming a slave meant surrendering everything to Kino. That alone might have been bearable—after all, Kino was still human. Even if he was long-lived, Mephisto could outlast him.

But then he read the final clause.

The contract stated that even after Kino's death, ownership would automatically transfer to his descendants. And if all of Kino's descendants perished, Mephisto would die as well.

He wouldn't just be a slave—he'd be a bodyguard, caretaker, and eternal prisoner.

"I am a Hell Lord! You dare humiliate me like this?! Impossible! I'd rather die!"

Mephisto roared, his voice filled with defiance.

"Then die."

Kino raised his fist once more, preparing to strike.

"Wait! Let's talk this through!"

Mephisto shouted in sheer terror.

"You refuse to sign, but you also refuse to die. You're making things very difficult for me." Kino sighed, his face full of fake concern.

Difficult for who?! Mephisto was on the verge of tears.

Feeling the corruption already devouring 5% of his authority, then 6%, he gritted his teeth.

"...Fine. I agree!"

Finally, as if using every last ounce of strength, Mephisto uttered the fateful words.

But the corruption continued—now reaching 7%.

"Stop it!"

Mephisto shrieked in panic.

"Sign the contract first."

Kino remained unmoved, his cold gaze unwavering.

Knowing he had no other choice, Mephisto's trembling hands clutched the pen.

He signed his name.

The moment the contract was complete, he was engulfed in flames, vanishing in an instant.

Yet, the contract's power was now seared into his very soul—an eternal, unbreakable shackle.
