Chapter 111 - Chapter 110: Beach and Ocean

Jean's words made a trace of warmth flash through Charles' eyes.

"However, while I've forgiven you, she might not," Jean took a step back as the Dark Phoenix stepped forward, clenching her small fists.

"Baldy, that was just interest. There are still nine more times. We'll take it slow," the Dark Phoenix smirked.

Charles gave a helpless smile.

"Hmph! Coward, let's go eat breakfast," the Dark Phoenix grabbed Jean and led her away.

"Dark Phoenix, can you stop calling me a coward? You should call me sister."

"Nope, you're just a coward."

Kino opened a portal, and everyone gradually left, leaving only Kino, Charles, and the Venom symbiote within Charles' body.

"Thank you, my king. Without your help, my old bones wouldn't have survived that," Charles said sincerely.

"I only reminded you and boosted your healing ability. Once you leave hell, it won't be enough," Kino replied indifferently.

"It's enough. In my original plan, I expected to die at least once," Charles shook his head with a smile. Before the seal was broken, he had already anticipated various outcomes and prepared accordingly. The worst-case scenario was to let Jean vent her anger on his body.

Kino also shook his head. This was a consequence Charles had brought upon himself.

"Over the next few days, Erik and the government will send a few batches of mutants. You'll manage them. Don't let any trouble arise. If someone disobeys, warn them once; the second time, send them to hell for discipline."

Now, everyone who had signed the contract had the authority to open portals—at least within this world.

"Yes, my king," Charles nodded solemnly.

The vast beach gleamed golden under the sunlight. The fine sand, as soft as sifted powder, stretched endlessly.

Waves rolled in one after another, their white crests breaking against the shore, creating a rhythmic, crisp sound.

Kino lounged comfortably on a beach chair, basking in the sun.

"Now, this is the life," he sighed contentedly.

With the company left to Tom and hell's affairs temporarily managed by Mora, Kino took everyone out for a vacation. Each face reflected ease and happiness.

To avoid being disturbed, Kino had simply booked the entire beach.

"Nina, you're amazing."

"This ability is really impressive."

"Nina, slow down a bit, I'm scared," a chorus of children's voices rang out.

A group of kids rode on the back of an orca, cheerfully gliding through the ocean waves. The orca cut through the water, leaving trails of white foam in its wake.

Damian had been dragged here by Pamela. She believed that girls should act like girls—not spend all their time playing with weapons and video games.

Xiaoyu, hearing that Damian was heading to the beach, grew envious. With a plea to her godfather, she was brought along.

Penny, now in the same class as Damian, also got permission from Flint to join the trip.

Jenna, who had recently found a job at the Devil Corporation, was invited by Kino when he noticed Nina looking a bit lonely.

Thanks to Xiaoyu's outgoing personality, the group quickly became friends and even summoned an orca to play with.

At first, Damian had been reluctant, but the infectious joy of the others soon brought a smile to her face.

Xiaoyu chattered excitedly, while Penny quietly enjoyed the atmosphere. Nina, watching everyone laugh and play, felt her loneliness slowly melt away.

However, that wasn't the highlight of the day.

Kino's attention was fixed on a group of beautiful women playing beach volleyball in their swimsuits.

Their fair skin glistened under the sun, and their athletic figures moved gracefully with every jump and spike. Long, toned legs stretched powerfully, while slender waists twisted with seductive rhythm. The motion of their chests with each movement was enough to make anyone's heart race.

"Xi, you've finally taken a break. Why not relax a bit?" Kino asked, glancing at Xi standing beside him.

Xi wore a sleek black one-piece swimsuit, holding a bottle of juice. Though petite, her proportions were flawless. Her delicate waist was barely a handful, and her long, slender legs were straight and well-defined. Her charming face, illuminated by the sunlight, exuded an alluring elegance. Slightly upturned eyes held a touch of seduction, while her soft, red lips were pursed with subtle shyness.

"Serving you is already quite relaxing, young master," Xi replied softly.

Noticing Kino's empty glass, she leaned forward and refilled it with juice.

"Is that so?" Kino murmured.

He placed the juice on the table, and under Xi's curious gaze, he pulled her into his arms, lying back on the beach chair together.

"If you don't want to play volleyball, then just relax here with me, Xi," he whispered.

"Yes, young master," she closed her eyes, resting her head against his chest. A gentle smile curved her lips as she nestled into his embrace.

The warm sunlight enveloped them while the sea breeze played with Xi's hair. In that tranquil moment, time seemed to pause.

"Kino, ka-cha! I'm here with you too! Ka-cha! Don't you care about me?" an energetic voice interrupted.

Kino opened his eyes, helplessly looking to the side.

A beauty in a red bikini hugged a watermelon, digging into it with a spoon. Her casual, carefree posture only amplified her charm.

Juice dripped from her rosy lips, and a black seed clung to the corner of her mouth, bouncing with every bite.

"I didn't want to disturb you since you were enjoying yourself so much," Kino chuckled.

"Hmph! Well, when I finish, you can start caring about me," the Dark Phoenix replied smugly, shoveling another spoonful of watermelon into her mouth.

She scooped up a large piece and offered it to Kino with expectant eyes.

"Here, try it. It's really sweet."

Without hesitation, Kino opened his mouth, savoring the juicy fruit.

"It is delicious," he admitted.

"Told you! I knew this watermelon was perfect—big and round," she grinned triumphantly, wiping a bit of juice from her lips.

Kino watched as she happily returned to eating.

"Dark Phoenix, don't eat too much. We still have a BBQ later," he reminded her.

"No worries—I can just break down the food in my stomach. I plan to make up for all the meals I missed while sealed away," she patted her perfectly flat stomach, unconcerned.

After years of being trapped, watching Jean enjoy food had made her crave every bite even more.

"Happiness is best shared with those who make your heart lighter."
