Mo Xixi twisted knobs, pressed buttons, and nearly panicked when warm water suddenly sprayed down from above.
She picked up one of the bottles and squinted at the label. Most of the words were unfamiliar, but two stood out: soap and body.
So it was for washing the body. She uncapped it and sniffed cautiously. The scent was light and fresh, nothing medicinal or poisonous. Safe enough.
The second bottle had even more words, but she caught two that mattered: shampoo and hair.
A separate wash just for hair? That seemed excessive, but she followed the instructions anyway.
The soap was oddly slippery, forming thick bubbles that dissolved under the water. Her skin felt lighter and strangely smooth.
The shampoo was even weirder, making her hair softer and silkier than before. She ran her fingers through it, amazed.
After drying herself with a soft white towel, she held up her uniform. It was still clean. Was there really a need to change?
