One day, there was an ordinary young man named Ryutaro. He was just a regular high school student. When he was about to relax in his room, suddenly, a strange, bright magic circle appeared inside.
"Woahh!! What is this?!" Ryutaro exclaimed in shock.
As the magic circle finished forming, an old man suddenly appeared in front of Ryutaro.
"Welcome to the Kingdom of Celestia, Hero," said the old man.
"Hero? What hero? And who are you?" Ryutaro asked, confused.
"Oh, my apologies for my rudeness, Hero. I am King Albert, the ruler of the Kingdom of Celestia. And you, Hero, have been summoned to this world to save it from the Demon King's invasion," King Albert said.
Ryutaro was stunned, hearing that he was called a hero destined to save the world from the Demon King.
"Save the world from the Demon King? No, no, no! I'm just a regular high school student who just wants to enjoy my school life! Besides, you forced me to come here. Now send me back to my world!" Ryutaro protested.
"But we cannot do that, Hero. This magic circle can only summon, but it cannot send people back. In other words, this magic circle is one-way only," King Albert said while holding his head.
"WHAT?!!!" Ryutaro shouted in shock. "Well, if that's the case, then what am I supposed to do now?" Ryutaro asked, feeling resigned.
King Albert smiled upon hearing Ryutaro's response. "Good, Hero. Now, open your status window," said King Albert.
Ryutaro then opened his status.

Ryutaro was shocked. "Huh?! Farmer?!" he thought.
"By the way, Your Majesty, why is my job a Farmer?" Ryutaro asked the king about his job.
King Albert answered, "A job is something granted by the gods to a person who is most suited for it. But a Farmer, huh? Unfortunately, this Hero Summoning has failed."
"Failed? What do you mean by failed?!" Ryutaro asked angrily.
King Albert explained, "Yes, failed. Because there's no way someone with the job of a Farmer can fight the Demon King. But since it has already happened, I will send you to a certain place along with 40 gold coins as compensation."
"A place? What kind of place?" Ryutaro asked, getting irritated.
"You will soon find out, Hero," King Albert said while tossing a bag of gold. "Guards, take this Hero to that place," he commanded.
"Understood!" the guards responded.
Ryutaro was then taken by the palace guards and put onto a horse-drawn carriage.
"Sir, please take him to that place," said the palace guard who escorted him out.
During the Journey
"Ugh!! Why is today so unlucky?! First, I got summoned to this world without a way back, then I received a useless job, and now I'm being taken to who knows where," Ryutaro grumbled inside the carriage.
After some time, they arrived at their destination.
"Young man, please get off. We've arrived," the coachman said while pulling the reins.
"Where are we, coachman?" Ryutaro asked.
"We are in the Black Forest, young man. This is the place where the Demon Queen is imprisoned and where failed heroes—those who received jobs unsuitable for fighting the Demon King—are abandoned."
"Huh?! A place where the Demon Queen is imprisoned and where heroes who don't meet the King's requirements are abandoned?" Ryutaro asked in disbelief. "So, how am I supposed to survive here?"
"That depends on your luck, young man," the coachman said before riding away from the area.
"Huh?!!" Ryutaro exclaimed in shock.
SYSTEM ACTIVATED
Suddenly, a system notification appeared.
BEEP:
A rare item has been detected. This item can only be used by someone with the job of a Farmer.
"A rare item? What item is it, System?" Ryutaro asked, looking at the system screen.
BEEP:
It is the Legendary Hoe, a tool that can only be used by someone with the job of a Farmer.
"A hoe? Isn't that just a regular farming tool? Why is it legendary?" Ryutaro asked, confused.
BEEP:
This is no ordinary hoe. Whoever wields it will be able to plant any crop and grow them on any terrain, including toxic soil. Additionally, harvesting crops will only take a few minutes depending on the user's level.
"Level? How can I even level up? My job isn't even meant for combat," Ryutaro complained.
BEEP:
You can level up by harvesting crops.
"Hmm, interesting. In that case, show me the way, System," Ryutaro said.
BEEP:
Understood. Calculating route to the rare item...
BEEP:
Route calculation complete. Please follow the designated path.
"Alright, let's go get that hoe!" Ryutaro said enthusiastically.
He then ventured into the Black Forest to find the Legendary Hoe. But to his surprise, the location indicated by the system was a large house with an open field.
"Are you sure this is the place, System? It's just a house with some land," Ryutaro said skeptically.
BEEP:
Yes, there is no mistake. Please enter the house, Host.
Ryutaro entered the house. As he stepped inside, he was stunned to see a hoe placed in the center of the room, radiating a dazzling golden light.
"Wow, so this is the Legendary Hoe. No wonder it's called legendary—it even shines with a golden light," Ryutaro said, marveling at it.
As he reached out to touch the hoe, he suddenly found himself in a white space, with a mysterious figure standing before him.
"Who are you? And where am I?" Ryutaro asked while looking around.
"I am the Legendary Hoe that you just touched. You must be Ryutaro, the Hero abandoned by the kingdom because your job is a Farmer," the figure said.
"Huh? How do you know that?" Ryutaro asked.
"Hohoho, of course, I know. I was created solely for a Hero with the Farmer job," the hoe spirit explained.
"Oh, I see. So, how do I use you?" Ryutaro asked.
"You want to wield me? Very well. To do so, you must show your resolve. That is the only way you can use me," the hoe spirit said.
"Resolve? What do you mean by resolve?" Ryutaro asked.
"Yes, resolve. You must have the determination of a true Farmer. If your resolve is weak, be warned—I may take over your body," the hoe spirit warned.
"Resolve, huh? Fine! I will accept this job and prove to the King that he was wrong to abandon me!" Ryutaro declared with determination.
"Good, Ryutaro. In that case, take hold of me and prove that your resolve is not mere words!" the hoe spirit said.
Ryutaro grasped the handle of the hoe, and in an instant, he returned to reality.
"Alright! With this, I will prove the King wrong!" Ryutaro declared excitedly.
As he stood there, fired up with determination, an unknown figure watched him from deep within the forest.
