"I found out about it from Tetsuya," Tsuchihebi casually revealed.
"Don't try to fool me, old man. There's no way Tetsuya would tell you something this important," Renji refused to believe Tsuchihebi's words.
"He didn't tell me, but I heard it myself—straight from Tetsuya's mouth," Tsuchihebi stated honestly. This time, he wasn't lying or making up a story.
"Do you have any proof of what you're saying?" Renji challenged.
"Of course," Tsuchihebi replied confidently.
Unbeknownst to Tetsuya and his subordinates, Tsuchihebi had secretly planted a listening device in the room where Tetsuya was resting. His instincts told him that something was going on, and since he knew he wouldn't get answers by asking directly, he decided to find out the truth in his way.
