Chapter 90 - CHAPTER 90

Hanzo of the Salamander was truly a man deserving of the title Demi-God of the Shinobi World. His strength had long since reached the peak of what a shinobi could achieve.

Facing him were three of Konoha's most promising warriors—Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Tsunade. As the students of the Third Hokage, each of them stood at the threshold of the Kage level, but together, they could barely hold their own against Hanzo.

Hanzo stood atop his massive summon, the fearsome Sanshōuo (Giant Salamander), his masked face exuding an aura of dominance. Opposing him, the three Konoha shinobi each summoned their own legendary creatures.

The battlefield became a clash of titans:

Gamabunta, the Toad Boss stood with Jiraiya, his massive frame and battle-hardened experience making him an invaluable ally.

Katsuyu, the Immense Slug, Tsunade's summon, oozed a calming yet formidable presence.

Manda, the Giant Serpent, coiled menacingly beside Orochimaru, its piercing eyes filled with an insatiable hunger for battle.

Four colossal beasts faced off against one another.

The battle erupted.

Hanzo's Salamander Poison was extremely lethal. If inhaled in large amounts, even a shinobi of Orochimaru's caliber would not survive. Thus, they had to stay constantly vigilant.

The three legendary creatures engaged the giant salamander, creating a chaotic struggle on the battlefield. Meanwhile, Hanzo himself took to the offensive, proving that even without his summon, he was an absolute monster in combat.

With unparalleled speed and deadly precision, he struck at the three Leaf nin.

Jiraiya's "Needle Jizō" hardened his hair into spikes, forming a defensive barrier.

Tsunade activated her Yin Seal, unleashing a burst of chakra-enhanced power.

Orochimaru's Shimmering Snake Hand sent a wave of venomous serpents at Hanzo.

But Hanzo was far from ordinary.

Pouring his chakra into his blade, Hanzo unleashed a devastating slash toward Jiraiya.

Jiraiya barely managed to dodge.

Behind him, a 50-meter-high rock formation was cleaved in two—a testament to the sheer force of Hanzo's blade.

Jiraiya swallowed hard.

"That's just a sword swing? If that had hit me…"

Seeing an opportunity, Tsunade charged forward, her chakra-infused fist aimed directly at Hanzo's chest.

Hanzo twisted his body, narrowly avoiding the strike, but even he couldn't completely escape the impact. The air pressure from Tsunade's punch forced him backward several steps.

Orochimaru seized the moment.

With a flurry of hand seals, he combined Water Release and Earth Release, summoning two intertwining dragon-headed torrents that surged toward Hanzo like a relentless storm.

Hanzo responded swiftly.

"Water Release: Water Formation Wall!"

A towering wall of water, over 100 meters high, erupted from the ground, blocking the attack.

However, the sheer force of Orochimaru's jutsu managed to breach parts of the defense. Hanzo, unfazed, raised his sword and effortlessly sliced through the remaining energy.

Jiraiya took advantage of the brief opening.

"Lion's Mane Jutsu!"

His white hair grew wildly, hardening into an almost indestructible net aimed at entangling Hanzo.

Hanzo's eyes flickered with mild amusement.

With a single lightning-fast sword stroke, he severed the hardened strands as if they were paper.

The True Strength of a Demi-God

The three Konoha nin regrouped, their expressions grim.

"He's too strong," Jiraiya thought.

Even the Third Hokage, their teacher, relied on his vast arsenal of ninjutsu to dominate his enemies. But Hanzo? He was pure, overwhelming power. His swordsmanship was on a level that bordered on absurdity.

Tsunade, usually confident in her brute strength, was beginning to see the gap between them.

For the first time, the three of them were forced to fight at their absolute limits.

Under such immense pressure, something remarkable began to happen—they could feel their limits breaking.

They glanced at each other and, without a single word, came to a unanimous decision:

"We have to break through. Now."

They stopped hesitating.

Jiraiya stopped holding back his senjutsu training and began channeling nature energy.

Tsunade adjusted her chakra flow, enhancing her already immense strength further.

Orochimaru abandoned his usual cold calculations and fought with raw ferocity.

Hanzo noticed the shift immediately.

"So, they're using me as a stepping stone to evolve?"

He smirked beneath his mask.

"Fine. Let's see if you can survive the process."

He increased the intensity of his attacks.

Their battle tore the battlefield apart—mountains collapsed, craters formed, and forests were reduced to ashes.

---

A Fateful Encounter

Less than 800 meters away, three children crouched atop a large rock, watching the battle unfold.

Their eyes were wide with awe.

The tallest boy, with wild blonde hair, clenched his fists in determination.

Beside him, a boy with fiery red hair stared in silence, absorbing every detail.

The smallest of the three, a blue-haired girl, could barely believe what she was witnessing.

If Uchiha Kiyo had been here, he would have recognized them immediately.

Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan.

The future leaders of the Akatsuki.

Konan gasped. "That's Hanzo-sama… He's just as powerful as the stories say."

Yahiko, however, was focused on the three Konoha shinobi.

"They're incredible," he murmured. "Is this what true strength looks like?"

A dream began to form in his heart.

"If we had this kind of power… could we finally bring peace to the Hidden Rain?"

Nagato remained silent, his Rinnegan reflecting the devastation below.

Deep inside, something within him was stirring.

---

The Birth of Legends

On the battlefield, the fight had reached its peak.

With one final, earth-shaking strike, Hanzo unleashed a colossal blade wave that tore through the ground.

Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade launched their strongest attacks in response:

Jiraiya's Needles

Orochimaru's Combination Ninjutsu

Tsunade's Monster Strength Punch

A deafening explosion shook the battlefield.

When the dust settled, Hanzo stood unscathed.

But he wasn't frowning—he was smiling.

"These three… they've grown right before my eyes."

For the first time in decades, he felt admiration for his enemies.

He sheathed his sword and said,

"You three… are truly worthy adversaries. You have earned my recognition."

He took a deep breath before continuing.

"From this day forward, the three of you shall be known as… the Legendary Sannin of Konoha."

Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade exchanged looks.

A title, bestowed upon them by Hanzo himself?

They had survived three days and nights against the Demi-God of the Shinobi World.

It was a battle that would be remembered for generations.

And so, the legend of the Sannin was born.
