As void tells Max that in order for him to gain his powers he has to venture his memories, Max was shocked when he heard that because he never knew that Max even had a past, 3 hours past and Max woke up and he saw Emma in tears, She thought that Max died but when he hugged him, and tears ran down Max's face after seeing Voids past.
"What's wrong" as Emma asked that Max hugged her, and he felt like his heart was stabbed with daggers, he yelled in pain and in tears as he could not believe that Void suffered that much it took him an hour to calm down when his friend asked him why was he crying, he could not answer since Void told him not to.
Max starts looking at Jonathan and he asked "what happened between you and the princess any way" Jonathan looks away as he could not say, Elena and Max look at each other and looks at Jonathan with a suspicious look in their faces and they smile in a sinister way, "At least he's smiling now" Emma thought to herself as she looked at Max with a smile.
As they were busy torturing Jonathan so they can get what type of conversation was Jonathan having with the princess, they hear a knock on the door and Max heads towards the door and he sees a young man who pulls out a knife and tries to stab Max, Fortunately Max blocks and the young man kicks Max through walls, the young man charges punches Max up in the sky and he lands in the "yellow plains" which are located at the southern part outside of the kingdom.
Max starts bleeding from his right cheek, started sensing murderous intent so he set his stance and he charges with a punch, the young man manages to block but their was another punch coming at him he couldn't block it, and the hit landed it sent the young man flying when he was starting to shape up, Max came with a kick to the gut he was able to block it.
But he felt his kick, the young man started charging up an attack but when he shot it it multiplied into hundreds Max was surprised and all the attacks landed on Max as he blocking the attacks, the young man felt exhausted but when the young man was replenishing his Mana he saw that there was no body were he attacked Max.
"looking for me" Max suddenly appeared out of thin air but his physical appearance was different his hair got darker and his red eyes became a more darker shade of red and his fists were engulfed with Dark Mana and Electric sparks flew over him.
Max punched him in the gut, and he followed up with a 360 spin kick it became impossible for the young man to block, Max grabbed his leg and threw him to the air, The young man was still in the air Max punched him and he went down.
when the young man stood up he was full of blood but as he was going unconscious he said " You truly are strong, Mission Accomplished, Evidential Termination" as the young man said that his Mana rapidly grew to the point his body could not handle it and he eventually blew up, Max was left speechless but somehow he felt an unease in him but when he looked back he saw the capital being burn to the ground and he finally understood that the young man was only a distraction to get Max away from the capital.
Max charged his feet with lightning and charged towards the capital, As in the capital Elena and Emma are evacuating all of the civilians and the Knights are fighting and the Academy students are also helping in supporting the knights, Jonathan was a front line fighter, and he thought that why are the enemies darker like they are pure black and when one is defeated it explodes.
As he thought that he sensed that Max in nearby " what took you so long" said Jonathan "that guy was a pain" answered Max and they walk side by side towards the army of unknown beings and they hold out each others hand palm to palm, "Unison" said Max "Rage" Said Jonathan and they face their palms upwards and a huge ball in created "Gods Hand" the ball falls on the beings and to them it looked like a ball that was descending from heaven.
And Max used earth prison to trap the beings by holding their feet, after the ball wiped of half of the army, they both charged not giving them a chance to regroup, Max jumps to the sky and charges a fist made out of earth and flames and as he falls down he hits the ground "Erupt. Fuji" a volcanic explosion occurs which destroys the enemy, Jonathan uses light magic on his sword " sword of light Excalibur" and he slashes to the enemies the attack effects them greatly.
Max and Jonathan both engulf his sword and his fist and launch flame projectiles towards the beings but the projectiles join together into one and causes a huge attack that looks like a fist that has claws the being try to run away but the attack, Max's 2nd Awakening runs out but he was still conscious, Jonathan sees that Max is steadily growing in strength and he smiles.
Elena and Emma come to heal the boys and Both of them fall to ground and grunts as those attacks caused them to feel intense exhaustion, Both of the girls kick them and yell at them, While Elena was kicking she forgot that she wore a skirt and Jonathan says " I thank you for blessing me Elena" ,Elena got more angry and engulfed her fist with water and punched him in the face.
Max's eyes were wide open and when he turned his head slowly he saw water fists in Emma hands, "Wait we can talk about this, w-we-we can talk" As Max was trying his best to negotiate Emma didn't listen and she punched him just like Elena did.
