The timeline returns to when Avril had just been kidnapped.
Haider and Pete arrived at the place where Avril had gone missing.
William Lasombra was already leading the police force to sweep through the scene. The doctor placed Mickey's body onto a stretcher and covered it with a piece of white cloth.
Haider looked at the car with cold eyes, which was splashed with blood, and slowly closed his eyes.
Vampires had a heightened sense of smell. He could feel the residual blood spreading the air. It was dirty and smelly.
A moment later, he suddenly opened his eyes, and his purple pupils were unusually bright.
"Luckily, this isn't Avril's blood," he thought.
"Young Master Haider!" William walked over with his beer belly protruding.
Whenever they were in the public, he always referred to Haider as "Young Master", and privately he would address him as "Royal Highness"
"Are there any clues left at the scene?" Haider's voice sounded like Hell had frozen over.
