Dominic pointed a finger towards Rosario, his eyes red from anger, and his face was a mask of frustration and helplessness as he added, "Mark my words. I'll break you little by little until there's nothing left to call yours and until you find yourself under my mercy. And that won't be it. I'll torture you while you'll beg for your death."
I watched him as his body was shaking slightly out of anger and the veins on his forehead, neck and his hands were popping.
Rosario's mocking laugh fell on my ears but I didn't look at him. My heart shattered watching Dominic so helpless, just because of me. He was handling everything fine by himself, without any help until he was blackmailed using me.
If I could move, I'd have tackled Rosario by now. Dominic wasn't alone anymore. He was inside the protective layers his soldiers had created.
But I couldn't move my lower body. It was paralyzed.
