Sasuke remained unfazed as he watched the Hokage approach, ready to strike him down.
That's it?
So, she's just another reckless brute like the Raikage.
Sasuke didn't even bother activating the Black Flame Shield. He stood firm in front of Tsunade, his eyes sharp with anticipation.
Let's see what kind of power the Hokage wields.
Boom!
A deafening impact resounded as Tsunade's monstrous fist crashed against the chest of Sasuke's incomplete Susanoo.
Crack!
Krrk! Krrk!
The sound of fractures echoed as Raikage's eyes widened in disbelief, his mouth slightly agape.
Impossible!
That's the same Susanoo that withstood my Liger Bomb and Heavy Burst. How the hell is this woman's punch cracking it open?!
Even Sasuke was momentarily stunned. What's happening?! His Susanoo's chest was fracturing, the cracks spreading ominously.
Sasuke panicked, his left skeletal arm extending toward Tsunade in an attempt to grab her.
Gaara watched in shock. What kind of monster is she?!
Jiraiya, standing off to the side, felt a chill of unpleasant memories rising to the surface.
Tsunade smirked at the incoming skeletal hand. I am the Fifth Hokage, granddaughter of Hashirama Senju, student of Hiruzen Sarutobi, one of the Legendary Sannin. Her strength was more than just reputation.
Tsunade planted her feet, gripping the massive bone hand with both hands. Sasuke's eyes flickered with uncertainty.
"Aaahh..."
With a fierce roar, Tsunade twisted her body, exerting monstrous force.
Sasuke's face contorted in pain. No way...!
Crack!
Tsunade wrenched the skeletal limb clean off and tossed it aside like trash.
Sasuke's mind raced in shock. What the hell is going on? How is she this powerful?!
Realizing he was at a disadvantage, Sasuke immediately activated his right skeletal arm. A massive, glowing purple blade manifested in his grip.
Nozomi, the perceptive sensory ninja, reacted first.
"Everyone, retreat immediately!"
The other shinobi instantly snapped to attention, entering battle-ready stances.
Sasuke locked eyes with Tsunade, his Susanoo blade gleaming ominously. With a swift swing, he slashed downward.
"Die."
The massive ethereal blade sliced through the air, heading straight for the group. Jiraiya, however, noticed something unusual.
Wait... he isn't aiming at us?
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Jiraiya's eyes darted upward as massive supporting pillars came crashing down, sliced apart by Sasuke's attack.
"The pillars!"
"The ceiling's going to collapse!"
Samurai scrambled for cover as debris rained down. The structural integrity of the battlefield was crumbling.
Suigetsu, still pinned to the wall by the Kiba blades, struggled violently.
"Damn it, Sasuke! What the hell are you doing?! I'm still stuck here!"
Jugo, too heavily wounded to move, groggily regained consciousness—only to faint again as the ground beneath him split open, sending him tumbling.
Karin, standing on a high platform, felt her footing give way. She let out a sharp gasp as the ledge crumbled beneath her.
Suddenly, a massive skeletal hand shot out, grabbing her midair and pulling her toward safety.
Her heart pounded in her chest. Sasuke didn't forget me...!
Her excitement was short-lived.
"Karin, don't just stand there! Keep track of enemy movements!" Sasuke barked.
Realization dawned—he had saved her not out of sentimentality, but necessity. She was his living radar and medical kit.
Above, enormous chunks of the collapsing ceiling plummeted toward the battlefield. Gaara reacted swiftly, unleashing torrents of sand from his gourd, forming a massive barrier that intercepted the falling debris.
Tsunade, undeterred, smashed through boulders with her fists, her eyes locked onto Sasuke.
"You're not getting away, Sasuke!"
Jiraiya's voice rang out urgently. "Tsunade, wait!"
But she was already in pursuit.
Sasuke moved swiftly, his massive skeletal arm slamming into the surrounding walls, breaking through to the outside.
Tsunade was indeed formidable, but with both the Kazekage and Raikage present, she wouldn't be fighting alone. If he wanted to survive this encounter, he had to lure her away.
The entire floor collapsed in on itself.
As the dust settled, Darui surveyed the aftermath. The ground rumbled as Raikage burst through the rubble, shattering the debris that had buried him. He had used his Lightning Release Chakra Mode to shield himself from the falling ceiling, ensuring survival.
The remaining shinobi emerged one by one.
Darui turned to Gaara and nodded. "Kazekage-sama, I owe you one."
Kankuro folded his arms, smirking. "Looks like Sasuke got scared of the Hokage's hammer and ran for it."
Temari gripped her iron fan tightly, concern flickering across her face. "I just hope the others are okay."
Gaara lifted his hands, controlling his sand to push aside the debris and clear a path. The golden grains swirled back into his gourd as he finished.
Raikage's voice cut through the air. "C! Darui! We're moving! We're taking Sasuke down!"
Darui gave a sharp nod. "Yes, boss."
C closed his eyes, focusing his chakra. "They should be outside."
Gaara remained silent for a moment, his mind drifting elsewhere.
