Natasha sat at the head of the long table, fingers laced together, eyes scanning over the gathered women. The air was different today—sharper, charged with something new. This wasn't just another casual gathering to discuss how to fix Kara's well-meaning disasters. This was a defining moment.
Jean sat to her right, idly stirring her tea, a small, knowing smirk on her lips. Wanda leaned back in her chair, fingers lazily twisting in the air, tiny wisps of red magic curling between them. Storm rested an elbow on the table, chin in hand, observing. Rogue sat with one leg crossed over the other, twirling a strand of hair between her fingers, looking amused. Gwen, always leaning into chaos, looked far too entertained by whatever was about to happen. Mystique, now fully embedded within the group, remained silent, waiting.
Natasha exhaled slowly, then said it outright. "We need order."
Jean raised an eyebrow. "Since when do we do that?"
Natasha didn't flinch. "Since we started running the world."
A pause.
Storm smirked. "She's not wrong."
Jean's lips curled into something sharp. "Go on."
Natasha tapped a finger against the table. "We've already redirected the Mutant Registration Act. We've secured political influence, thanks to Jean. We have the power to decide who stays in power and who disappears."
Wanda chuckled. "I do love making people disappear."
Natasha nodded. "We have complete intelligence access through S.H.I.E.L.D. We control international affairs through Wanda's… talents. We're actively manipulating mutant relations through Jean and Storm."
Mystique, arms crossed, tilted her head. "And now, we're going to formalize it?"
Natasha met her gaze. "Exactly."
Jean leaned forward, smiling. "And the name?"
Natasha let the silence stretch before she said it.
"L.E.Y.A. League of Extraordinary Yanderes & Antagonists."
A beat of silence. Then, Gwen burst out laughing. "Oh, that's perfect."
Storm smirked. "So, we're just openly embracing that we're the villains now?"
Jean shrugged, sipping her tea. "We always were."
Wanda grinned. "Finally, someone said it."
Rogue, barely containing a laugh, propped her chin on her hand. "Lemme get this straight—we're running the world, secretly controlling politics, takin' out threats to Kara, and naming ourselves after obsessive psychos?"
Natasha smiled. "Accurate."
Wanda raised her glass. "To recreating the world in Kara's image."
Jean smirked, clinking her glass against hers. "To villainy."
Storm exhaled, shaking her head with amusement, but clinked her glass anyway. "To a new world order."
The sound of glasses meeting filled the air. It was done.
L.E.Y.A. was born.
Across the table, Mystique watched carefully, silently.
This wasn't what she had expected when she infiltrated Kara's life.
She had expected chaos, unorganized obsession, a loose web of women clinging to a god they didn't understand.
But this? This was something else.
This was control.
This was power.
Mystique finally spoke. "Then allow me to make our first official move."
All eyes turned to her.
Mystique's smirk was small, but sharp. "We need to remove Senator Kelly from the equation."
Jean, sipping her tea, arched an eyebrow. "Go on."
Mystique leaned forward. "He's still fighting back. That means we need something bigger."
Wanda hummed. "I do enjoy big gestures."
Mystique continued, voice smooth. "Magneto has his little machine, the one that can turn humans into mutants. His entire plan revolves around it. Why don't we… offer him a test subject?"
A pause. Then—
Gwen grinned. "You want to turn the senator into a mutant?"
Mystique nodded. "Kill two birds with one stone. Let Magneto think he's getting what he wants. Meanwhile, Kelly disappears."
Rogue tilted her head. "That's beautifully cruel."
Jean chuckled. "And effortless."
Wanda smirked. "I like her."
Storm raised an eyebrow. "So we manipulate both sides?"
Jean smiled. "Of course. We always were."
Natasha exhaled, pleased. "Then let's make it happen."
Later, at the Brotherhood's hideout…
Mystique, in her usual blue-skinned, gold-eyed glory, stood before Magneto, her expression unreadable.
He welcomed her return with open arms, completely unaware that she was no longer his to control.
"I need a favor," she said smoothly.
Magneto, always eager to listen to his "most trusted ally," leaned forward. "Name it."
Mystique smirked. "I have a perfect first test subject for your machine."
Magneto's eyes glowed with satisfaction. "Who?"
Mystique let her smirk widen.
"Senator Kelly."
Magneto laughed, pleased. "Brilliant."
Mystique nodded. "I'll bring him to you."
She already had a plan.
The harem wouldn't even need to lift a finger.
The U.S. government would soon be missing a senator.
And by the time Magneto realized he was being played, it would be far too late.
Meanwhile, back at the mansion…
Kara stretched, grinning. "Man, I feel like things are finally calming down."
The harem exchanged a knowing look.
Jean smirked behind her tea. "Oh, absolutely."
Wanda chuckled. "Everything is completely under control."
Kara, blissfully unaware, smiled. "That's great to hear."
Gwen grinned. "Totally. Nothing suspicious happening at all."
Natasha just sipped her coffee. "Everything is exactly how it should be."
L.E.Y.A. was officially in motion.
And the world would never be the same.
