Back in the Elven Lands:
Renjiro thought about finding proper houses for the charming little tree spirits, but they kindly turned down his offer. As he learned, their way of living was quite different from the elves'.
With a simple gesture, one of the tree spirits waved her hand. Instantly, a magnificent, large tree sprang up before Renjiro. Its trunk was dotted with smooth, round openings.
"Your Majesty, we shall take our rest now," a spirit announced gently.
One by one, the lovely tree spirits gracefully flew into the holes in the tree. This, Renjiro realized, was their home, a unique, portable dwelling they could summon wherever they went.
Curious, Renjiro peeked into one of the openings. He saw a miniature world inside: a cozy bed woven from wood and vines, tiny wooden furniture arranged neatly, and even a small supply of fresh fruit.
"Truly an astonishing people!" Renjiro breathed, deeply impressed.
