Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Unforeseen Transmigration*

Usato's eyes glued to the screen as he navigated the virtual world of Eternity's Realm, his favorite RPG game. His character, a level 50 warrior, sliced through the digital landscape with ease, leaving a trail of defeated monsters in his wake. The familiar glow of the screen illuminated his darkened room, the only sound the soft hum of his computer and the occasional beep of notifications.

As he played, his mind wandered to his favorite cultivation novels. He devoured them by the dozen, fascinated by the concept of harnessing one's energy to achieve extraordinary abilities. The idea of cultivating his own energy to become stronger was a tantalizing prospect, one that fueled his imagination and inspired his gaming sessions.

Suddenly, a loud explosion echoed from outside, followed by the sound of helicopters and screams. Usato's attention snapped back to reality as he wondered what was happening. He paused the game and turned to face the window, his curiosity piqued.

"What the...?" Usato muttered to himself as he approached the window.

Outside, a helicopter was engulfed in flames, plummeting towards the ground. A second helicopter, marked with the insignia of the US Secret Service, pursued the first, its searchlight fixed on the fleeing aircraft.

"We have the target in sight," a voice crackled over the radio. "Prepare to engage."

A missile shot out from the second helicopter, striking the first with incredible force. The explosion sent debris flying in all directions, and Usato ducked for cover as a metal compartment box crashed through his window, striking him with incredible force.

Usato's world went dark as he felt his life slipping away.

"No...no...this can't be happening..." he whispered, his vision fading to black.

---

When Usato's consciousness returned, he found himself in a completely unfamiliar environment. He lay on a bed of soft, green grass, surrounded by towering trees that stretched towards the sky like colossal pillars. The air was crisp and clean, filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers.

As he struggled to sit up, a wave of dizziness washed over him. His head spun, and his vision blurred. When his senses finally stabilized, he took stock of his surroundings. The forest was dense, with trees packed tightly together. The canopy above filtered the sunlight, casting the forest floor in a warm, emerald green glow.

Usato looked down at his hands, still shaking off the haze. They were his ordinary hands, with no visible changes.

"Who...who am I?" a faint, mechanical voice whispered in his ear.

Usato's eyes widened in surprise. "Who are you?" he asked aloud, his voice shaking slightly.

"I am SKY," the voice replied. "Your...Martial Spirit. We are bound together now."

Usato's mind reeled as he struggled to comprehend the situation. "What do you mean? Where am I?"

SKY's response was cryptic. "You are in Kharon, a world of ancient magic and forgotten lore. Your journey begins now, Usato."

Usato's eyes narrowed, trying to process the information. He looked around, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings. The trees seemed to stretch on forever, their branches tangled together in a complex network.

"What's going on?" he asked SKY, his voice firm. "Tell me everything."

SKY's response was silence, leaving Usato with more questions than answers. He tried to stand up, but his legs felt like jelly. He stumbled and fell back onto the grass, his head spinning.

As he struggled to regain his footing, Usato noticed something strange. The trees seemed to be... reacting to him. The branches leaned in, as if trying to listen to his conversation with SKY. The air was filled with an almost palpable energy, like the forest itself was alive and watching him.

Usato's eyes widened in wonder. What kind of world was this? And what did SKY mean by "Martial Spirit"?

With a deep breath, Usato tried to stand up again. This time, he managed to keep his balance. He looked around, taking in the sights and sounds of this strange new world.

"I'm ready," he said, his voice firm. "Tell me what's going on, SKY. What is this world? And what's my role in it?"

SKY's response was still silence, but Usato could sense a presence watching him, guiding him. He took a deep breath, steeling himself for the journey ahead.
