Barely ten minutes after Eclipse was contacted by the SOUL DAIRY the remaining members of his shelter were also scouted out by the SOUL DAIRY with each of them having varying symbols, seeing the look of dread on the face of his archenemy and also his nemesis— Elara he laughed inwardly in glee, looking at the young teenage who kept muttering disjointed words, he was excited, so excited that he wondered if he was the only one or it was a natural thing for someone to be happy at the fallings of someone else but he didn't care he was just happy that Elara got to feel the dread of the metaphorical feeling of something rotating on your wrist indicating the count down to your Doom. His enmity with Elara, all started when—
"We're here". One of the military personnel said in a deep voice. "This is were our mission ends, another squad will receive after you cross over".
As the passenger highlighted out of the armored bus all the new commers all have the same thoughts 'cross over where'. Their question were soon answered, as soon as the came out of the bus they came face to face with a gigantic ocean that scratched as far as the eyes could see. They appeared to be in a port with an equally gigantic ship, looking far ahead they saw an island and on the island was a massive dome, pure black , it had many sizes jotting out of it, looking like spikes.
"What is that". A member of clan Dawn who Eclipse recognized as Mira spoke in amazement.
"That my friend is the academy, or should I say your new home till you survive the red moon". Dr. Patel was just as jolly as ever, "and" adding she said "where I met the love of my life and produced the most beautiful thing in my life, my daughter". Patel looked at Ryder who held her in his arms with love, who then leaned in for a kiss.
'Seriously this is getting on my nerves'. Looking at the scene the two lovers were playing he had a sudden pain in his chest, his mind ever overthinking.
'it's not as if I won't get married'. Seeing the husband and wife Duo being all lovely in front of him he thought back to his situation just a few hours ago he was already in a tune with his reality which was to stay single forever, but on the hospital parking lot although he was assaulted by Kyle who he later sent away with a slap to his wrist, he wasn't in a bad mood if he was he would have beaten Kyle to a crisp, his mind was occupied with the beautiful girls who went to and fro, he realized that he now had a chance, this girls didn't know him and they was a high chance he would be able to marry one of them. But seeing the duo in front of him, he was suddenly uncomfortable, it was as if he was jealous of the man.
'i can't possibly be jealous of him, I mean she is beautiful and all but from what I know they have a daughter and from what I can tell their daughter was just across them in that dome structure'. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts he realized in his day dreaming the husband and wife Duo had finished kissing and had even briefed them on what was about to happen, but he day dreamed his attention away, in fact they were already boarding the ship. Scurrying away towards them he got to the ship.
The ship set sails, towards the large dome structure, Eclipse looked around only to see that they were not the only ones on the ship. He face Palmed himself mentally barating himself for even having the idea of them riding the ship alone.
A few minutes after departure everyone settled down, it was then he knew that the people who had been contacted by the SOUL DAIRY for at least two months temporary settled down on the ship as the Aether required to power the ship was too costly even for the Academy, but the ship had everything from meditation room to sleeping quarters, to training room, everything was made available.
He also learnt a lot of things for example, the ship only left every two months and was powered solely by Aether, when he first heard it he exclaimed out loud, loudly praising humanity in his usual shamelessness, but was brutally shut down by Ryder who claimed that it was something called a whisper and it was the whisper of the headmaster of the school. Up to this point was what he heard, everything else was mare gribbish, he was anything but not patience. After staying put for a while,he gradually became restless as he couldn't stay in one place for a few moments, that was he went towards the training room for one purpose, not to train but to observe. His expectations were rendered asunder as the training room of the boy and girls were separated. With his gloomy expression he went towards the massive swimming pool in on the desk, and with that his mission was accomplished.
After a few hours, 10:00 pm to be exact they disembarked off the ship and unto the beach, and was welcome be people who were the squad the milita personnel talked about, as Eclipse stepped out of the boat he took in a breath of fresh air as he surveyed the environment, White sand, tall coconut trees and the dome in front of them.
Despite the massive amount of people everyone was silent, although they had come in terms of not being together with their family again, seeing the school in front of them was enough for them to second guess their decision but all those who has been contacted by the SOUL DAIRY would never be able to live an ordinary life ever again. But not meeting their parents again was only temporary except those who were orphans, having this thought someone named Kyle was staring daggers at a certain someone named or self named Eclipse.
Eclipse was looking around when his eyes coincidentally locked eyes with Kyle.
'what is he looking at me for that for, I haven't done anything to him ever since we embarked in the bus'. But after thinking it through, he realized Kyle was just angry at seeing him considering what he thought Eclipse did.
'i know that feeling sigh, he still probably think am behind it thanks to that bastard old man, it seems seeing me gets him angry just like that disloyal bitch'. Thinking of a certain disloyal bitch his anger flared as he directed his gaze at the person in particular, Elara his Archenemy and also his nemesis.
As if feeling his gaze Elara turned to see the eyes of Eclipse that was filled with bitter rage, but she understood him considering what she did to him, all this enimity Started when—.
"Now, now don't be sad, take it as if you relocated to another sanctuary or shelter for most of you, you could still see you parents considering you passed the trials, can't you see am here and i was once like you". One of the teachers said, but the face of the audience paled further, although he spoke with a lot of positive energy it all came to a matter of if, and no one was willing to bet his or her life in if.
The teacher in particular received a frown from his colleagues causing him to scrach his head in confusion, 'did I do something wrong, I was only encouraging them'. The remaining teachers paid him no heed as they quickly controlled the situation. They guided the one hundred and forty something people as they marched towards the school.
Ryder absurdly raised his head as he stared in the direction of Eclipse then in a movement incieveable by a majority of them rushed towards Eclipse, standing in front if him he wasn't the first to reach as someone beat him to Eclipse.
"It seems you're ready for your trial you will come with us we got no time to spare". Eclipse looked at him with confusion until it dawned on him, it was time to embark on his trial. But he was confused.
"Wasn't I supposed to be taken on my birthday, and that is a few minutes from now". Eclipse muttered in utter confusion.
"You were but it seems to have examined you soul rather quickly".
Before he could react, something manifested in front of him.
"Η ψυχή σας έχει εξεταστεί, έχετε κριθεί ότι έχετε ακεραιότητα ψυχής 0,003. Προετοιμαστείτε για τη δοκιμασία που επιβάλλεται από την ψυχή σας."
"What the hell".
It wasn't the ethereal golden book that floated in front of him that made him screamed, no far from that, as having an ethereal golden book floating in front of you wasn't new but what made him screamed was that he didn't understand what it wrote.
Looking towards Ryder and the teacher he asked a question.
"What is this, I can't read it". But before he could get an answer he felt a tug and he lost consciousness.
Seeing him fall forward unconscious Ryder caught him with an uneasy expression.
"He is going to die, isn't he".
"Don't speak like that have some faith".
No one knew when Patel arrived at the side of Ryder.
"But you could tell from his words he didn't understand what was written in his soul dairy, which means he didn't study the old language, how would he even know what his exousia is".
Even the usual jolly Patel was downcast.
Speaking in a low voice.
"We can only hope".
With a downcast atmosphere Ryder and the teacher rushed towards the school leaving the rest behind to secure Eclipse in a safe place. Why because the self named Eclipse has been summoned by his soul to undergo the existence trial.
