"I-I thought it was you... because when I woke up, I was in your arms," Lyra admitted, her voice trailing off as embarrassment washed over her. She recalled how she had shamelessly admired his beauty that morning. But then another memory surfaced, darkening her expression.
Casian chuckled, watching as she scrunched her nose in distaste.
"You certainly hold a grudge," he mused. "But shouldn't that also apply to your sister? She hasn't changed one bit."
