CHAPTER 36
Aurora sighed heavily, shaking her head.
Ade grunted, knowing her friend would back off from telling her. "Out with it." She said impatiently. "As I said, two heads are better than one, remember?"
"Fine." Aurora rolled her eyes, for Ade could read her just as easily. "I heard him call someone 'babe' in a call." She was slightly ashamed to admit it. She doesn't want to give any malicious thoughts to it because she felt that he wasn't fond of flings. And she was damn certain that Max couldn't just have a girlfriend.
Ade's mouth gaped open. She was speechless about what she should say about it. Though she doesn't socialize with Max often, she never heard him playing with girls' hearts. It was obvious in his actions that he was such a fine gentleman. Unlike his brother, who had a bad boy vibe. He had a hostile persona but was a player. Max was the sensible one.
"We can't judge a book by its cover. Maybe Max really had a fling." She said at last.
