If Andreas weren't here, I would have laughed my butt off when Laim face-planted himself. His cheeks and the tip of his ear are so red it makes him look even more adorable than he already is.
But I tamp down my instincts and focus on the threat at hand right now. Andreas is a S-ranked adventurer from one of the prominent guilds in the capital. I know because I have done my share of research before dragging myself in here.
Despite what I say and show, I am pretty serious about what I do. I am the commander of the imperial army after all.
I have taken down Andreas, but it isn't enough. He has fired his gun, and I am pretty sure that the guards are on their way here. This estate has over a hundred guards, and it has a tight-as-hell security system. I would say this place is even more heavily guarded than my fortress if my fortress didn't have an additional layer of magic circle over it to prevent any unauthorized entries.
