Chapter 6 - Chp. 6 New World Jungle

This was the first time I had entered deep into the Jungle here in the New World, I was lucky (I guess) that I met Red out on the Outskirts closer to my farm, I'm more so Lucky that I was able to Tame her at that.

So while Red was Swinging from tree to tree me and Aster were moving along on the ground of this dense Jungle.

There were many different types of plants and animals I had never seen or heard of before, but as I don't have the appraisal skill I can't tell what is good and what is bad for you, however Red did say that all Mushrooms in the Jungle are poisonous so I steered clear of them at all costs.

However Red came down from the trees as we approached a clearing in the jungle only to realize we were up on a Ridge that gave us a stunning view of the New World.

This continent was such a magical place that if I wasn't forcibly brought here against my will I would love to explore this place itself.

The jungle went on for miles on end, but in the distance mountains could be spotted, and flying monsters could be barely seen, which startled me is if I could still see them at this distance even without a hunters (Eagle Eye) Skill that just means whatever those are they are massive in size, and only one thing comes to mind.

Dragons

Luckily for me, my farm and the town, the mountains are at least a few hundred miles away from here and thus dragons are unlikely to attack us due to them primarily sticking to mountainous areas as that is their natural habitat.

What was strange was that I was seeing islands, sky islands at that, those are only supposed to exist within the Elven Forests back in the Old World as they were considered Sacred sites for them.

'The New World has its own Elves huh? I wonder what they are like.' I couldn't help but think before drawing out the scenery before me.

As the New World is, for the most part, unexplored and there was an expedition teams in the past have at best gotten roughly 20 miles into the Jungle before needing to retreat but most weren't so lucky and thus they never made it back.

As far as I know, no one has found a vantage point like this in the Jungle and thus no known maps know of the distant mountains, nor the floating sky islands due to the canopy of the jungle being too thick to see through clearly.

"This could earn us some money, big time…." I mutter to myself as I draw what I see, while I'm not an artist my drawings at the very least I would call as okay for what I'm doing here since I didn't have time to shade what I was doing I just made a rather simple drawing and giving some details to a few of the more important areas, such as the distant mountains and sky islands.

After drawing what I needed I put my journal away before looking at Red who was dangling her legs over the edge of the ridge.

"Red, what way do we need to go to get to the Orcs?" I asked as I doubted that I needed to hear further westward and towards what I'd call the Dragon Mountains.

She pointed towards the north where there were mountains as well, however I noticed these 'mountains' as we approached the new world.

These mountains were sheer cliff faces on the border of the New World Continent as Frontiers Point as far as we humans, elves, dwarves along with many others could find was that Frontier Point was the only Sea Level entry point to the New World.

From what I heard on the ship is that finding entry points into the New World would make those who find safe points to set up new towns would make one excessively rich from whatever country you pledge the town for in colonizing the area.

Frontiers Point being the only one made in the new World has given the Western Kingdoms, who are allied with each other, an edge over the rest of the kingdoms and empires in the old world.

"So those are the mountains you were mentioning that the Orcs would be located nearby." I say looking towards the mountains in the northern edge of what I would come to call the Sheer Cliff Mountain Range, a range that covered most of the eastern coastline of the New World.

"Then let's make way Master!" Aster said while lugging a massive wooden log before we both began to follow along Red once again through the Jungle.

After about another hour of traveling thanks to Reds lead and Asters strength scaring off various beasts and animals, in the distance we saw the outline of some fencing of a village and some tribalistic shacks.

"Master! We've come to the Goblin Village…. But something doesn't seem right…." Red said to me as she came down from the trees and landed by us.

I looked towards the village as I could see smoke rising in several locations in the area instead of just one central location, "No, this doesn't look good, let's go see what happened." I said before we proceeded towards the Goblin Village.

As we got close I began to gag at the stench, the smell of rot and burning flesh filled my nose causing me to grab at my shirt and covering my face.

Bodies lay strewn across the ground, blood staining the grass, houses mostly burnt down with most of the dead being goblins and a few orcs.

But not only that but in several places a black sludge like substance can be found with several bodies pierced in multiple places as the black sludge came out from the holes in their bodies.

I looked down at the sludge as my eyes glowed before I clicked my tongue at what I saw, "Corrupted Golems, either these Orcs have a Dark Mage on their side, or a rise in ambient mana caused them to form but it seems they have a Mage more than anything and this makes finding them more dangerous." I say before pulling myself up off from the ground.

But after searching there were no survivors, and Red pointed out the headless body of the Villiage Leader being among the corpses with most being E/F Grade monsters while the chief was a D Grade Goblin Warrior.

"Master, this isn't everyone in the village, most of the males have been killed but the females and younger males are missing." Red explained to me, though she seemed indifferent to what happened to the village even though she was from here originally before she evolved and was kicked out for being a threat to the now dead goblin Warrior.

"Hmm, seems the Orcs captured them and took them back to their village as slaves, seems like the Orc village will be hard for us to deal with if they are hostile like this…." I couldn't help but say as I looked towards the direction of where the Orc village is most likely located at.

Peace probably isn't an option when we meet them, what we have to worry about seems to be whoever are their strongest members along with the Dark Mage within their ranks.

Things are looking dangerous for us but something needs to be done before they locate our farm and endanger us all.

..

.

The sounds of moans of pleasure can be heard from within Orc Village that we could hear in the distance while I looked through a spyglass I had on me.

I grimaced at what I saw as the goblins, both the young male and females seemed to be forced to have sex with the Orcs against their will from the (Charmed) status effecting them and a pink/purple smoke spreading through the village.

One Orc who seemed to be the strongest was none other than the leader and the Futanari who was having her way with several female Goblins and female orcs all together.

However this gave me an idea as to what we should do, "We go at Nightfall when they least expect it." I say before shutting my Spyglass close.

So we move at night.
