" Eve" lu yichen tested out the name, it is beautiful name.
"Let's see how much you said are truth" he smirked. He somewhat believable her, but his past experience doesn't let him believe something hundred percent.
Specially now that he is danger to so many people out there, everyone is lining up to eliminate him.
Next morning, Evelyn woke up in specially good mood as she now has the permission from the owner.
After freshening up, she went to down. She is late today, so when she reached the dining area, Alex was already having breakfast.
"Good morning" now she is in his house, she has to show him good attitude.
Lu yichen looked at her then nods to acknowledge her greeting and continued his breakfast.
But the butler who was nearby was shocked. This little girl can speak. Moreover she has deceived them for days.
He looked at his master, but he didn't surprise which is even more surprising. His boss knew her lie,yet he didn't do anything.
"Uncle butler, sorry I didn't tell you earlier that I don't have any disability. I really am sorry" she apologized him looking really guilty.
The butler is always caring towards her and treats her as his daughter, yet she deceived him which is wrong.
Butler's heart jumped up, he didn't know how to reply her. As that is the fact that she has deceived them but how is master with him.
He took petty the other day and treated her nicely, but his master is his top priority. If she means harm, he will show no mercy.
The butler looked at his master, as he didn't know his master's stance in this matter.
Lu yichen, knowing his gaze, didn't look up but said, " she is going to live here for a month."
This sentence is enough, as he knew, his master must have his reason. If the girl is allowed live in, then she must not be suspicious.
"Miss, if the master is okay then we don't mind the previous action.please tell me what would you like to have for breakfast " he said politely.
"Oh, call me Eve. And give me whatever he is having." She replied awkwardly as he the butler acting really politely.
After taking seat, " umm, do you know you don't have telephone in this house" she asked him.
"It's my house " he looked at her coldly indicating obviously he knows everything about his house.
" Ah, I mean you are so rich, why don't you buy one." She touched her nose. "You see, I am really bored, can't you get one. When I have money I will definitely pay you."
" Miss Eve, should I remind you again, this is not a hotel for you to order things around " he said coldly.
"I am not ordering, I am requesting you." She pouted also a little embarrassed.
"And I'm rejecting your request" after that he finished his breakfast and went out.
Lu yichen, in his office room called both Leon and Liam.
" Give me a list of people named eve " he gave the order to Leon, who agreed and immediately went to his office to work on it.
While Liam again stayed but this time with his Boss's order. " The girls name is Eve, She can hear and speak." Lu yichen said first.
To this Liam is little surprised but he has also guessed it. "Boss, what is your order" he asked as he knew nobody would go unnoticed for deceiving his boss.
But the things doesn't seems to go according to him.
"She will be staying. Iam so far confident that she is not a spy. But I will have to investigate further to confirm her story. Lu yichen told Liam.
"Also, this pendent, find it's history and it's current owner" he gave the pendant to Liam and after that Liam left his office room.
At the mansion, aunt Zhang also get to know the girl has no disabled. But, like butler she didn't hold prejudice against her, as she still believe the girl can cause no harm.
Aunt Zhang is woman and she also has girl at her age. She can see that the girl holds no animosity, moreover she has seen girls fawning to her master but that girl is just her, no impurity.
As Evelyn was feeling really bored, she asked aunt Zhang to teach her how to cook.
Though it was disaster for her at first, but she still didn't give up.
At the end of the day, Leon finally completeed his investigation and gave his report to his boss.
"Boss, why did you ask me to investigate someone called Eve, there are so many of them" he inquired this time.
"The girls name is Eve, I want to find her background" lu yichen told him.
"Boss you should have told me earlier. But, I think you got wrong information this time, she is not among the list of people named eve" Leon said confidently.
"So you have a way to find her identity. " He asked.
" Yes, boss I can match her photo or fingerprint or Irish to get her information" he scratched his head. " My brother had told me to use this method to investigate her, but I was investigating mikhailovs, so I forgot."
"Do that then, also she is not disable I hope you will be a little smart next time." Lu yichen said to him coldly. He knew Leon is genius in computer but he has low EQ. Because of this,when he was little, he got tricked many times by his friends.
For Leon, the news was really shocking as he really believed the girl is deaf. Now that he thinks of it, the girl hadn't said that, he assumed it and made everyone believe it.
He is ashamed that once again he fall for their appearance. Really, he should only believe people who he knew for long time.
And yeah, he is definitely going to confront the girl, as he was worried for nothing and even defended her.
When lu yichen, Leon and Liam reached the home, butler was not there to welcome them. Not minding this, they reached the living room where he got to know the butler is surveiling the girl as she had made a commotion earlier.
After a moment butler came out, "master, welcome back. Please get freshened up ,the dinner will be served in a while."
Lu yichen noded and went upstairs to his room to get wash.
"Where is that little girl" Leon asked the butler. Butler unsure why he is looking for him, told that the girl is in kitchen.
Leon strode to the kitchen but he saw her cutting tomatoes with so much focus. He knew his previous lesson, so he didn't tried to scare her, but as he still had grudge against her.
"Tell me, little girl, why did you deceive all of us" he somewhat yelled.
Startled Evelyn, turned back and hit him in the shoulder which she immediately regretted after seeing other parties expression which is really dark.
Now, what can Evelyn do, she has habit of hitting her brother whenever he tried to prank her. It was out of habit she did that.
"Hah, this is the second time right. Do you think I won't hit a little girl. You trespassed, lied, deceived and even hitting." At this time Leon was little angry at her.
Evelyn is also not someone who could lose in fight, " oh, I have already explained that to your boss and he let me stay. Who are you to tell on me now. As for hitting, that's what you deserve." She argued.
