I met him in 2023, when we were in year 10. 2023 was full of surprises. We were in the same Maths class. Being an extension class, I was so happy when I got in.
My friends and I gabbered about it for ages when the list came out — they were also surprised. My strength being English based subjects, Maths was never my type of thing.
Then he became relevant.
I saw him in the first lesson. At that time, I was holding grudges. Some of the slightest arguments I ever had a few years ago just placed a label on him.
I looked at him in disgust, pretended he didn't exist, and continued talking to my friends.
TXT released their song earlier that year. I didn't really like the concept that much back then, but my mind suddenly started playing:
