The Ghastly Ghouls had made it out of the dungeon. They were not going to hold back when they told the people outside what had happened inside. They wanted to make sure their story was believable, and that people would look at them and take pity on them.
"That dungeon is uncharted. The lead warrior, Theo Sung, tried to push us out, but I am afraid he was caught up in the dungeon's terrors." Nathan lamented to the Lobby head. He was not going to miss out on the compensation money he would get for being part of a raid that almost took his life.
The lobby head knew it was the law and another law was that the dungeon would be sealed off so no low ranks would be able to enter until the S ranks or the SS ranks would be able to clear it.
"This is very bad, that dungeon was recorded as D rank, I wonder how it turned out to be an uncharted. I will contact the Association and tell them what happened I am happy that someone made it out of that place alive."
The lobby head called the association to inform them what had happened, it was not going to be funny and it was also not what they would expect not even in a million years.
"What in the world?" Liu was the one who picked up the call, he was not happy to hear that yet another dungeon was marked uncharted and it was not even clear what was inside it. "We will be there soon, please don't let anyone take that dungeon."
Liu ended the call, he was not sure what he was going to be able to explain what was going on and where all the uncharted dungeons were popping up from.
"This can't be happening, this is the second uncharted dungeon we are getting this month and it is not clear how it would read as a normal dungeon at first." Liu was frustrated, he was not sure what he would call it but he knew something strange was happening.
The office doors swung open, Keith was standing there and from the looks in his eye, Liu could tell that he had heard of the uncharted dungeon.
"Tell me this is some kind of joke, two uncharted dungeons in a month, please tell me it's a joke." He was more tense than Liu, he knew that uncharted dungeons meant that there was something out there causing a huge change in the world.
"I was asking the same thing but it seems that I am not crazy after all, something odd is happening here and I am not sure why but it seems to be happening in an odd pattern." Liu placed a file on the table.
Keith puzzled took the file, he wanted to know what he was going to see inside it.
"What is this?" He looked at Liu, he was going through the papers.
"In your hand is the list of people who entered the dungeon, the Ghastly Ghouls led by Nathan Cruz, he teamed up with Theo Sung of the Sung Family, and lastly."
Keith's eyes widened when he saw the last name on the list.
"Darius Winters." Keith was still looking at the file, he was sure up to then they couldn't have this kind of coincidence. "He is in another uncharted case, How is this possible?"
"I don't know but all we know about this guy is that he is an F rank and he is not someone who can survive in situations like that unless he has gone through the reawakening process." Liu stood up, he was looking at Keith and he had the same thought on his mind.
"I know what must be going through your mind, how is it possible that he is in the two appearances of uncharted dungeons? I don't know the answer but if what we are thinking is the right thing then he must be on his way out now with Theo Sung, we can't let a warrior of his caliber stay hidden,"
Liu began to walk out of the office, he was looking at Keith who was still looking at the file.
"Aren't you coming?"
Keith snapped out of his daze, turned to Liu, and followed him closely. "Where to?"
"Ugh, I already told the boys to form a perimeter around the uncharted gate so we are going to head there. The call came in a few minutes ago saying that the Ghastly Ghouls came out thirty minutes ago. So if what we are thinking is correct then Darius Winters should be walking out of there right now."
Keith dropped the file and followed Liu, he knew he was on to something and they were going to find something more leading than the others.
Back at the dungeon, Darius and Theo had gotten enough rest and they were about to leave the dungeon. It was not going to be nice if they were there the whole time.
"I still don't know why you said we aren't going to take down those bastards once we leave this place." Darius was looking at Theo, he was upset when Theo told him not to go for the Ghouls until they had a plan to make sure that nothing would backfire.
"Nathan Cruz has been on a spree of raids and with each raid a member usually an A rank would go missing, a member that is not part of his ghouls." Theo sounded a bit worried when he was trying to explain why he had told Darius not to attack.
His voice laced with a hint of regret and anger, "I didn't think much of it and said it was due to the dangerous dungeons, but after he said that it won't be the first time he is killing another warrior before we had that fight."
"So why don't we tell them what he said before running a blade up his twisted ass?!" Darius was eager to get his revenge, he didn't want anything to hold him back from setting the scores right. "He is someone that needs to be put in his place and we need to make sure that nothing is going to be keeping us down so I have to…."
"If you do that then the association will know you aren't an F ranked, and then we will have to deal with Nathan's family." Theo stopped Drius from completing his sentence, he didn't want him to get wrapped up. "Look I know he needs to be put down but that will be when we are significantly stronger and we have a stand in society, Nathan is part of a powerful family, they are the third family to produce more than one S-ranked warrior rated high in the continent. So unless you can take on three S-ranked warriors at the same time then be my guest."
Darius rolled his eyes, he knew that Theo wasn't lying and that he was not going to be able to survive Three S-ranked who were humans, he would need to be stronger than most of them.
'He has a point, if I attack him now then I might as well be sending a message of war to his family, whoever they are. I will have to get stranger than take out his sorry ass.' Darius had a foul grin on his face, he was not going to let Nathan go that easily.
"Alright, I will not do anything to attack him, yet." Darius pouted, he was not going to do anything to bring much attention to himself.
Theo smiled, he was happy he was getting through to Darius. "Thank you, now the moment we leave this place the association would probably be outside waiting to try to seal it and there is a good chance we are going to bump in Keith Danvers and Liu Chen. So I want you to take the red cobra core and hold on to it until we can find a pawn shop to explain why we have a grade three S-ranked Monster core."
Darius was puzzled, he didn't know why they would be hiding the core from anyone.
"Why aren't we going to give this to the lobby?" Darius was looking at Theo.
"Imagine the look on their faces when an A rank and an F rank bring this kind of thing in, they would want to know more about you." Theo was trying to explain to him what would happen.
Darius nodded slightly, he was looking at the core. "I can sell it then give you half of the money,"
Theo was shocked when he heard what Darius said, he was not sure if he was hearing exactly what he said but then he wanted to make sure nothing would happen to him.
"Keep the whole thing, I don't need the money." Theo picked up the blue Cobra core, placed it into his bag, and was ready to leave.
"Huh, then why did you enter the dungeon?" Darius followed him closely, he was not sure he understood what he was trying to say there.
Theo smiled, and he turned to Darius. "I will tell you that when I get your Chicken breasts but for now," Theo turned to look at the closed exit, thanks to the Nathan and the ghouls. "We have to think of a way out of this mess."
Theo thought of many ways he could use his spear to open the way but he was still a bit skeptical if it was going to work.
"I don't know what is going to work but if I can.."
"That won't be necessary," Darius interrupted him, he smiled as he charged up the gauntlets, and he stepped back a bit before running towards the rocks smashing a way open.
"Crisis Averted!" Darius had a big smile on his face, Theo was looking at him he couldn't explain anything again.
'I forgot he is brutally strong, I wonder what else he can do.' He said as he followed Darius both of them began to walk away from the dungeon.
Right outside the dungeon, Keith and Liu were standing there waiting for the warriors to come out but they weren't seeing any signs of them coming out.
One of the men working to seal it walked up to Liu trying to talk to him. "Sir, there is no sign of anyone coming out of there so I think we should…"
"You will do no such thing we have to wait a bit." Liu cut him off, he was not going to let go of what he thought was the truth there and then.
The man didn't have any other thing to say, he bowed his head and left. Keith walked up to Liu, he was looking at the dungeon gate.
"The readings on that gate were D rank before it went up to an Uncharted, plus there has been no sign of the both of them so I don't think they are alive."
He was looking at Liu, he didn't want him to keep standing there waiting for nothing.
Liu let out a sigh of defeat, he turned to his partner. "So maybe we were wrong then, he is not some special ranked warrior and…"
"Someone is coming out of the dungeon!" A worker yelled.
